I'm guessing everything after "probably" is speculation.
The H!P site does actually mention that she'll likely miss the concert and single promotion which sucks

Aw, Kanna. I hope she recovers quickly.

Yeah, reading the Japanese, it sounds like she'll most definitely miss the new single. Hope she gets well soon!

It's really disappointing that she is going to miss the concert tour. Concerts are where Kanna really gets to shine. She is my favorite to watch in the concerts because she puts everything she has and then some into it.

Anyway, because some people are wondering about the treatment for this sort of thing, here you go:
Bunions may be treated conservatively with changes in shoe gear, different orthotics (accommodative padding and shielding), rest, ice, and medications. These sorts of treatments address symptoms more than they correct the actual deformity. Surgery, by a podiatrist or a doctor/surgeon, may be necessary if discomfort is severe enough or when correction of the deformity is desired.
------
Bunion surgery can be performed under local, spinal, or general anesthetic. The trend has moved strongly toward using the less invasive local anesthesia over the years. A patient can expect a 6- to 8-week recovery period during which crutches are usually required for aid in mobility. It is much less common today as newer, more stable procedures and better forms of fixation (stabilizing the bone with screws and other hardware) are used.
This is only two parts of what is said on the Bunion Wikipedia page. Take a look at the other little details right here.

it did say she will miss it, but i said probably because she may be a fast healer, and return quicker than expected.
Yes, hopefully she makes a speedy recovery!

It does look like the big toe on her right foot is turned in towards the second toe a little more than what would be normal. I would have never noticed....
