The year was indeed 2002. Whether these were stand-alones or part of whatever show I honestly don't know. Fact is they were released as a DVD later on.

i've been listening a lot to Anata ni Deaete lately. i somehow missed to get it when Egao was released and downloaded it just a couple of days ago. it's an awesome song, really.

anyway, when i heard it the first time i knew instantly that i had heard a similar song. any Xenogears fans here? Singing of the Gentle Wind sounds a lot like Anata ni Deaete, at 1:18 into it, the chorus part. or at least a little.

I watched the " Aya No DNA" first episode last night. When was this done, around 2002? Was this a skit that was part of a bigger variety show?

Matt: Vermillion is right; Aya no DNA is part of Idol o Sagase (アイドルをさがせ!; Search for Idol.) The only related thing I could find on the tracker here is the sad news subtitled by HPS.
