Formerly a 7th gen RS that was promoted to Team B during the team shuffle but quit shortly thereafter, Shihori rejoined as a 11th gen RS and was apparently re-promoted to Team B member status during the 2011, May 21st Stage performance.

Another surprise considering I figured Minarun, Mariyagi, either of the Harukas, Suzuran or even Fresh Lemon would have been promoted but then again since this girl was already promoted to Team B once before, this makes sense.

But kind of surprised since she just joined back a few months ago and is now in Team B. I was expecting one of the other promoted members to be put in B instead.

I got home from nightshift not too long ago, and did my usual read-blogs check-twitter round, and being that I was very tired I didn't really connect the dots of her promotion until a little bit later. And then it just hit me: Shihorin is back in Team B!!!

I was just waiting for it ever since I heard of her being back with AKB48, when she was announced as part of 11th gen Kenkyuusei batch.

She seems to have injured her left leg, the doctors diagnosed it as something like tendon infection. Hope she can get well soon.

Wonder what happened to the plan by the management (according to TGSK's twitter) to have some generic AKS blog for those girls w/o own agency. I think how NMB handles it isn't too bad.

Putting hopes in AKS executing good plans fast is the equivalent to believing in Santa Claus.

Granted AKS is miles better than UFA in terms of being up to date on a whole section of things, but they are in desperate need of a Lean Coordinator / Process Analyst to make them do their job a little bit more efficient, and somewhat more timely (... my lack of Japanese means I won't send my curriculum vitae for that theoretical position though )

The only option as far as I can see is sending fan letters.

When I found out that Shihorin was the sole Team B member coming to DC, I'll admit I was disappointed. She never seemed to stand out in any way when watching her on different shows, but after seeing her perform live I'm really liking her now. She was one of the members that was really fun to watch.

I'm looking forward to watching her progress in the future.

I'm kind of the same. She was a member I had taken note of, but not really one I was a fan of until those shows. But she, along with Ricchan and Reinyan, are the ones I've grown to like exponentially more since. After the show, I called out to her when they were leaving and she turned!

...but looked too far to her left to wave.

Yeah, I didn't even watch the performance live (watched it on g+) and Shihorin still really impressed me. I thought that she was really graceful and had confidence as a performer.
