I guess this is a rather odd bump, but thanks to the always wonderful work of the people at blog48, I have come to find myself in love with Kanakichi. Her blog entries are a blast to read. I love her odd ball humor, photo gags, and self commentary. I don't know how she stacks up with the more popular girls in NMB (namely as she's the only NMB girl I know aside from a couple I've heard mentioned from time to time), but I hope she can become more popular regardless of her current standing. I look forward to supporting her.

I just posted a similar thing up on Konda Rina's page.. I don't post here often as this board is more focused on Hello project stuff, but as this is a valuable download and sharing resource, thought I'd share something to.
I do Kanakichi (and rii-chans) blog translations over at blog48. If anyone is interested in reading them, please check them out I became a huge fan of NMN48 over the last year living in Osaka, and managed to see them 3 times. So this is my attempt at giving back. Please feel free to comment, pm, make suggestions changes, requests etc etc. Hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do translating them. I'll post both the links to the blog directly, and to the backup copies on my own livejournal, where I also do other occasional NMB48 stuff.

Before that though, is anyone else running into any weird timing issues with their favorites updates? I don't know what it is, but for the better part of the week, I've missed Kanakichi's posts in real time because I had literally just went to bed or just left for work. The one recent time I got lucky enough to catch a post before I went to bed, it was her next update that happened right after I had left for work the next morning.

And all I could fit of g+ pictures of or featuring charming Kadowaki-san.

Anyway, a worthwhile bump would be the saga involving her, Milky, Haru, and Shiokichi on g+ where Milky got giant bags of Umaibo.

Kanakichi got into one and Milky left her. Shiokichi says Haru, herself, and the staff just laughed and let her be. Haru seemed skeptical about helping out such an annoying person. But she got out...and took home about 90 sticks of Umaibo.

I love random little Google+ storylines. Really puts into perspective just how big of goofballs these girls can be.

This is so like not idol-like at all.

Was she privately fishing (with her family or something) or for some kind of TV show?

Her blog nor g+ really seemed to say, but I'm going to guess privately since she mentioned she had the day off on her blog.

She has shown an interest in fishing (such as blog photos of her with a new fishing poll and bringing up the idea of an AKB Fishing Club) and I know she's mentioned how she enjoys going fishing with her father.
