AKB48 member Ayaka Kikuchi (17) is taking on her first lead movie role, alongside gravure idol Saaya (17). The two will co-star as students in the horror flick "Merry-san no Denwa," inspired by an urban legend.

The story revolves around a karate club that goes to a training camp in the mountains, and one by one the club's members disappear. Kikuchi plays the protagonist who tries to find the reason behind the disappearances, discovering that they are somehow related to an incident that occurred 30 years earlier. Saaya has been cast as Kikuchi's rival.

The plot will incorporate the "Merry-san no Denwa" legend, which tells of eerie phone calls from a doll that was discarded when the young girl that owned it moved away. However, the story will also add in a new twist.

Nao Nagasawa (27) plays a teacher and the club's advisor. The movie was directed and written by Mitsuhiro Mihara, whose works include the "Keitai Deka" television series.

"Merry-san no Denwa" will get a limited release starting on February 12. The official website is now open.

Now I’m on my computer
and suddenly remembered(´,_ゝ`)

When I was in elementary school
I pretty much used the computer
and totally lived a shut-in
life(´,_ゝ`)lololol

Of course I went
and had fun at school every day
and played with my friends a lot
and had a normal life too, but
starting about 5th grade
for some reason after school ending
I would go home right away
and mess with the computer.

Even when my friends invited me places
89% of the time I would say no
because I wanted to use the computer LOL

Now I feel really
apologetic towards my
elementary school friends…

If you ask why I was
so into computers like that…

I was a HelloPro-san otaku
I made fansites
and started fanblogs
and joined communities
and BBS sites and chats

I was really into it lololol

And I watched videos
every day(つω^`)

I was dependent on the computer lolol

I was really an idol otaku lolol

Ah~ nostalgic~

I used the computer too much
Papa and Mama scolded me LOL

Aw Ayarin I love it when AKB girls reveal their fandoms, whether it be H!P or anything else.

Also she was one of the first girls I knew (after Sayaka) from AKB, around the time I first heard AKB I found out that Ayarin had been fired due to a scandal. Was really happy when I found out she came back since she was one of the first girls I knew, even though I didn't realise she was back until I got into AKB properly last year . I still have a soft spot for her

The big team shuffle is over.

It was announced that I will be a member of NMB48, but it's only a once in a lifetime chance for me.

I have already decided for myself.

I'm going to talk about it seriously with my family as well.
