Does anyone has an idea what Kana is growing (some kind of bulb plant; onion)? It's interesting to follow the progress of her strange plants. But I can't find out what it is via Google or Google translate (She calls it "Minegishi", I think? Well... only get Miichan hits by that search term on Google. )

I'm guessing it's an Equisetum species. Equisetum hyemale or Equisetum japonicum. If it is that, then what she is doing is trying to grow new plants from parts of another plant she got by division/stem cutting.

That's the only thing that comes to my head right now.

Edit: I read further back in her posts, and it's not Equisetum. It's actually leek, which ... considering Kana, makes perfect sense...

Ah... I guessed it could go in that direction and so I wasn't too far off with "onion", those are a bit related after all. Indeed, makes proper sense.

Anyway during recent Sapporo concert  in the free time, Kana Kobayashi, Yuko Oshima, Maria Suzuki and Sae Miyazawa got together in the hotel room having fun. Playing game and making funny faces... LOL... They definitely need to go to sleep....

Kana posted many messages on her G+ about this and summarized in her blog.

Kana announced her graduation today at Request Hour.

 

She said originally her plan was to graduate after 1000 performances, but with the appearances in theater these days, she would probably remain a member until she's 30 years old.
