This is my first post here on H!O and what better way then with a bunch of pictures of Morning Musume from the opening ceremonies. Some of the pics are too dark and i'll probably fix them later. I'm slowly loading up the better ones but the hotels connection is kind of slow so it may be a while.

You and me both. I mean, yelling at a freaking video playing. A video of the old members of Momusu who aren't even there. I can understand the screaming when each girl announced themselves or when they do something. Like Gakikame A-to thing or Kamei doing her Jewel Pet voice.

I am too afraid to turn up the volume to attempt to hear at risk of going deaf.

Try actually being there. Where you not only get the screaming, but the random ppl standing up and blocking your view.

Edit: Can get wifi in the convention hall? I've just been walking back to the Figueroa Hotel. Oh yah, also got stuck in Section F Row 8 for the concert. That's not too bad. The 1 1/2 hour wait just to get the ticket sucked.

Hello. First time poster. Waited in line today for autograph session but didn't make it in. Anyone know where and when the next autograph session will be and where? Oh and yossie was at the H!P looking great!

I didn't hear to well at the Q&A. I think they said 1100 tomorrow, before the concert. Hall K or something like that. I don't know for certain though. I'm sure JapanFiles will update us, once they themselves get the information, as when I asked at their booth, they were dumbfounded on the details.

I don't know what AX is freaking doing, but they need to update their site. I'm going to ask in their forums for details.

Does anyone know how to get tickets to the Autograph session at 11:00 on saturday?

The japanfiles site says "Time: 11:00AM - 12:30PM
Location: TBA
Event: Morning Musume autographs (AX event)
*this is an AX event and is limited to first-come, first serve
*session will end at 12:30PM sharp, regardless of any remaining line
"

but it doesn't explain where it is or if there are tickets or not for it (I heard there are tickets for it). Do you have to go to the tsunku panel to get a ticket, or is that autograph session only for the people who didn't get an autograph today?

Also, for the autograph session at 2:00 on the same day, is it really at the Hello!Project booth in the convention hall? Or will it be in that room upstairs where the autographs were today?

Everyone got through the autograph session extremely fast, it only took a few seconds per member. Only reina held up the line because her sign is so long. 300 tickets seems like so little now, I bet they can get through 300 in 45 mins or less.

My eyes met Aichan's eyes so many times during the Q&A, since I was sitting somewhat close to her. She even complimented me on my japanese during the autograph session (I imagine she probably said the same to others though...)

I saw yossie too when she was helping at the booth, that was really cool

Today was a very surreal day. See you all at the concert tomorrow

I could hardly hear anything with all that screaming. I turn the volume down and couldn't hear anything and then when I turn it back up I think there's random electric guitars playing but it's just screaming err... well thanks to whoever recorded that it was better than nothing

Hmmm....that might be the session they talked about at the Q&A panel. Anyways, all the AX autograph session have tickets from t he Q&A panel. The ticket is a one time use, so you can only use it at one session. Now all the autograph sessions have a standby too, so you aren't required to have a Q&A ticket. But if they don't get through all the Q&A panel ticket holders, you won't be getting in.

I need to get back in there to get a Momusu in LA shirt.

summary of the Q&A, since I'm so overloaded on MM right now I can't think, I won't be able to give a chronological rundown or even a complete picture, so here goes some highlights (please help by filling in blanks on things I forgot!):

-starts with girls filing in, for some reason all they did was file past the stage to exit on the other side... odd After the main translator/moderator comes in, the girls come back, seated right-to-left in generational order

-all the girls did their usual self intro down the line, with LinLin doing the best bit of English.

-the moderator asked them some basic questions like how they like LA, etc, what they think of fans. To these questions the girls gave predictable but enjoyable thought out responses. The trouble starts when the audience gets to ask questions:

-rush for the question line was scary, too many self-serving idiots talking about themselves rather than actually asking the girls anything of value - including one moron doing half-assed-kamezo-cosplay and bent on forcing all of us to watch him make an ass of himself

-the girls either didn't want answer the questions or couldn't, sometimes responding with off topic answers. My limited Japanese tells me that the translator was translating correctly... maybe the girls just couldn't hear well.

-somewhere during the questions Kamei's sleepiness was brought up, she claims even at that moment her eyelids were getting heavy, we then cheered loud enough to bring the roof down and wake her up

-several wotas from japan directed multiple questions in a row only to Kamei who make a good effort at involving other girls in answering, good for her

-Kamei and Koharu both got to do their respective anime characters. Kamei was asked to do so and she did after several cute false starts. Kohaa was asked, "would you want to do another anime voice acting job?" to which she answered "OK!!!!" and did Kirarin impression without being asked... hilarity

-Pink's (awesome LA hotdog spot) came up when a food-related question was fielded. I think it was actually Kamei that talked about it, the moderator asked us not to go camping out in front of Pinks tonight

-toward the beginning when Sayu was asked where she'd like to visit in LA, she answered "Wh, what is it?... Paris?? Oh Holly? Hollywood!"

-Aichan and Reina had very collected and thoughtful responses to several questions, but while Aichan didn't really show character, Reina would inject her Fukuoka accent and sharp tones to spice things up.

-Risa had a chance to lead us all in her eyebrow-beam!

-As already mentioned Risa and Kamei were requested to do that Aaahhhhh-To pose from HaroMoni@ which they flubbed kinda audience appreciated nevertheless

-yep, and someone got to play janken with Reina... grrrrr

-Aichan and Reina and one other member had questioners tell them directly that they were the favorite

-junjun fielded a question on watching movies (transformers) which she dodged, but answered in her usual broken japanese, at which point Mitsui had to jump in and clarify for JunJun - yep, that means we had a translator for the translated interview, simply awesome

-no love forlinlin except for one chinese shoutout at the end

-in short, the sleepy head kamei, ditsy and hungry kohaa, sharp reina, and junjun
really showed their characters.


-approx. 15 mins before the end of the presentation Tsunku quietly comes in with 2 other dudes from the front right entrance. No one noticed except maybe the 10 of us in the very front-right corner. He hat no hat, shades, wearing black shirt and jeans, brown shorter (for him) hair.

Only Exhibition hall events are no cameras. So it's free reign at the opening ceremony, autographs at the Momusu booth, and closing ceremonies if they're there.

Hey all,

It's been great to see all the positive support and energy surrounding the girls so far! I am totally pumped for the concert tomorrow.

If anybody ended up with extra autograph tickets (long shot, I know) please give me a PM. I really tried, and so did my boyfriend, but it just didn't work out. =(

I wish the Saturday signing was later. I'm definitely going to the Tsunku panel but at the same time I acknowledge that because I'm doing that I'll be too far back in the standby line to have much of a chance. =P

I gave up trying to listen to this because my ears are about to bleed. I'm gonna go off general summaries here instead.
