NEWS UPDATES

Update 1: Confirmed by UFA.

Update 2: User sign-up list added. I have changed it so that only those who are FOR SURE going are on the list. It's not because I don't love you, it's just too time consuming to keep track of everyone when really it's only relevant if you're going or not.

Update 3: MM will be signing autographs at AX **

!!!Update 5: "Morning Musume will be performing on Friday, as per the official announcement from AX staff. And, historically, concerts begin at 1 PM. As far as autograph session goes, it is safe to assume it will not be the same day as the concert, and it is fairly unlikely it will be on the first or last days."!!!**

Please only make plans if you are serious about going or want to help out those who are going. Maybe we can set up a meet-up.

First of all, thanks to Nouciel for compiling this list for me. She undertook looking through all the pages and checking to see who was for sure going and who was just maybe going. PLEASE PM me if you're for sure going, but if it says that I am online posting in the thread is sufficient as things have slowed down now. The "maybe" goers are no longer included on the list. It would be great to assess just how many members we have set up to go so that we can better plan what we're going to do.

@Risa/Misa, there's pricing info here, but it would be better to figure out which day(s) they'll be performing on, because I'm assuming you don't want to pay more than you have to.

Personally I'd stay in a motel 8 just to see Momusu, but I'll probably end up staying in the Holiday Inn right next to the Convention Center, which is probably where many others who are attending the convention will be staying.

I'm doubting my ability to go, being on the east coast in Virginia and all, but I'm curious as to what prices are for round-trip tickets to Los Angeles? Is there a place I can check online to see how much it would cost going from Virginia to Los Angeles?

^ tickets from CA to FL is 200$... so its probably really cheap. norfolk, va to la, ca is 200~. go to travelocity.com

Please, please does anyone know if it's only open to US residents? It doesn't seem to say on their info page. I presume I'd need to book for the expo in advance since it might sell out.

Mine's going to be about 300 bucks. Ouch. So worth it, though.

@burnt glitter: I wonder if I can find anyone who lives out that way I could stay with for a bit or something. If we got people together (with someone who can drive) and share a motel room or something it would be less I'm sure. If $55.00 for two days is a bit much but it's a bigger con then I'm use to (once only paid $35 for the whole weekend lol) but I will wait to see if they can even show up in the end and it's some prank thing or that I will have enough money. Though if I can't do it I will pay someone to take pictures for me. lol
