Not sure if this is right. Really makes me feel uncomfortable that this might be the new "image" they might go with. This going by someother pics posted her and the magazine spread of them just wearing nighties, if that is what you call them.

If you say so, but I my opinion this is a step up compared to any previous entry. And I noticed they are presenting their body image more now than ever. Mai isn't even 18 yet. But its what ever their management wants.

That kind of image is more fashionable these days. C-ute as they got older were given a more and more sexy image. Even so you can look at the dance moves to even old songs and it's a lot of ass shaking and hip thrusting. That's kind of the point to an idol. That whole innocent and childish thing went out of fashion years ago when the second major idol boom happened. Most idol groups these days go for a sexy image including H!P.

I have to somewhat agree with Scyllaio. A little sexiness doesn't hurt, but hopefully they won't take it too far. Let's hope it doesn't overshadow their performance skills too much.

^put me on the old fogey list. Kind of hard to explain to others that I like H!P. They see stuff like this and they assume I'm just a creeper.

@Scyllaio: Back when Mai was 9 she had to thrust her hips and sing "love me do me" so an almost 18 years old girl doing a bit of burlesque dancing is really not bad in my book.
Don't forget it's H!P we are talking about here. It will never get THAT bad.

@iwabo: Yup, I do remember that, and even then I thought they were too young to such moves. Will H!P follow the overly raunchy style I constantly try to avoid Stateside, I really doubt it. But to me at least this is a bit much.

@Iwabo: You're right but I think that it is more than a burlesque dance when a girl put a rod shaped thing between her legs...

I'm not sure Airi would appreciate being called a type of grass. You mean すげい, not すげ - two very different words.
On topic though - to be honest, it didn't look sexy live, entertaining, yes, sexy, no.

Well, maybe my daughter who is native Japanese is incorrect. But, I'm going to have to go with her spelling. At least for now. Let me ask my wife.

OK, so my wife says that the word isn't proper Japanese anyway. But she would spell it like Haruka did : Su Ge and a dash. To mean "Awesome".
That's cool though. Daughter's spelling is verified and now you and I know for sure.
