she is just so ######*ng beautiful. and I love all the effects she adds to her photos... her originality (in everything) is the best of her traits.

Lol censoring the i there doesn't make it family friendly. But I do agree with the sentiment.

the haters would disagree. i can't tell you how many times i've heard that she's incredibly dull and boring, most of it coming from this very forum.

^ People just mainly say her personality isn't exactly exciting/noticeable.
She is, of course, very original and a great performer. Most just prefer a different type of personality for an idol.

Ai-chan used to be shy and not really take the initiative in establishing her own persona, but she long ago got past that- a bit like Kamei, actually.

She was never shy, just crazy! Even back as far as Mr. Moonlight interviews she would talk about stuff like wanting to shave her head or enter the Matrix. I honestly think the management tells her to keep her mouth shut most of the time to keep that "perfect beauty" image since MM usually already had the "strange one."
I can't wait to see what madness she'll unleash once she graduates.

^ That! And they even sent her for some trainings to remove her accent, which was so damn appealing to me (cause it's unbelievably near my own accent in our language). Ai-chan was never dull or boring!

I don't think she's ever been shy - just much prefers following direction rather than having to be spontaneous - especially in interviews, where she could happily answer questions, but otherwise generally kept quiet.
But to me that's all part of her adorable charm. That, and the fact that she has superposition with regard sexy and cute... look at a pic one moment and it will seem sexy... look at it again and the same pic might have changed to cute. Quantum Beauty.

The first reason why I liked Aichan was that she was completely insane and un-idol like XD That and her killer voice.

I first saw her, in 2006, shortly after becoming a Yossy fan, in a trio with Konkon and Yossy singing "Do It Now" and I was impressed by how she stole the show with her sexiness.

@Oikaze, I am but human. ;)
Actually, I think the first thing I saw and heard her in was singing "The Manpower" in the 2005 H!P concert - All Stars Dairanbu something or other. First bit of H!P I think I saw.
And I genuinely think the overriding thought was how someone that pretty could have such a voice!
