100 mill yen, thats like close to 1 mill in dollars right? That is indeed a lot of money, so I can see the why. But let's see first if this is really how this is going to turn out. I have no resentment for Aibon and won't have any either if she actually does something like this. It's her life and we all make some decisions in our own life that others see as wrong or that we regret making later on. But I do know one thing, if she actually goes through with this, then it will outsell all of the H!P books combined, even the people cursing at it will either have looked through it or own it secretly stashed away somewhere safe, that's how humanity is.
And I will not lie that I will not be interested in it either, I sure as hell will be but I will not lie about it.
Let's face it, sex sells, and something like this from H!P hasn't happened yet, so that old fart of Aibon seems to gonna cash in tons of money over this.
I allready see new contract lines in every H!P contract coming right away, as in 'even after leaving H!P no such thing is ever allowed within the next ten years' with a humongous fine hovering above it. :D

I feel like Kago is a victim here. A lost teenager who were pressured by work is easier to persuade by 20 years older man. He was probably planning it after he met Kago. I mean to turn a jpop(who adults and teens have lust for her that buys every product she has) into a nude star definitely sell.

Maybe this just means "the nude truth". Remember Egao YES Nude? Some people thought it was going to be done nude! But they were just referring to a naked smile. This could just refer to a naked book, not a nude book. The book could reveal secrets on her views on H!P... I bet it is. =] She wouldn't do this.
If she IS doing what everyone thinks, then I've lost faith in her.

Whenever some random Hollywood-star takes her clothes off, it's no problem. More likely it's "natural", "sensuel", "romantic" and "sexy" and everybody is more or less happy about it.
Then when some Japanese ex-singer tries to boost up her career with nude pics, it seems like it's "perverted", "unnatural", "sick", "twisted" etc.. But why?

I, personally, strain myself from comparing American and Japanese worlds. The mentality is different. To be honest, I like the idol industry in Japan more, as it smehow still expects its idols to be pure and honorable, unlike spoiled, naugvhty starlets such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears...

Saving my money (lol). IMHO. most of MM girls are prettier than most gravure artists, Maybe they will bring some more class, talent and fun to the IV photoshoots. Some of the MM Photobooks are just a hair's breath away from Gravure anyway - many are actually a lot better (e.g. Rika's, Mikitty's and recently the awesome one by Risa). oops - forgot Gocchin!

Wasn't there an idol at some other agency that had a huge scandal and fell from grace and then she did a nude photobook and her popularity shot right back up, I read it somewhere. Perhaps Kago's taking a leaf out of their book.

I do think it's the influence of the guy who she was seen at the hot springs with. She's a kid still. Older and wiser women have been duped and manipulated by men (the same applies with the genders reversed.)

I honestly think that this is a divertion from the almost scandal from Miki, just a rumor to distract everyone from keeping on Miki's track. Her recent apearance in Friday Magazine could have been a big bomb inside UFW and would have been difficult to deal with, and the aftermath for H!P could have been very negative since she is the leader of the main group from the organization and many of the other members of MM are underage, also all of the H!PK members look up to MM as inspiration or role models. So I truly believe it could just be a rumor to distract attention from Miki. If it comes out to be true and she actually apears naked then, it's her life and we have to deal with it like it or not. Personaly I wouldn't condemn her and might even take a look at the book , but I know she could have been better off with out that boyfirned of hers, he doesn't even regret causing her problems and getting her fired from H!P and when asked about honoring her and marry her he replied with a flat NO.
He doesn't deserve to be alive.

The reason why it looks better in the west is several reasons; the stars are usually much older, it is done usually for Playboy, FMH or Maxim, either semi-nude and usually only 5 or 6 pages, more about setting, lighting, etc.
In Japan, from what I gather, it can turn rather pornagraphic. Not saying if this happen it will. But think about it. If in Japan, they have Photobooks that are rather revealing, can you imagine what is required to go to the next step. Such things are more common in Japan. I have never seen anybody looking at porn in public places and I live in a city with over 3 million people.

ahhh. Kago is grown and can do whatever she wants. I still love her. And I don't know if I believe this is true. But if it is just plain she is standing there nude and they are tasteful and whatnot then whatever, but if it is porn (there is a difference) then well I will be pretty sad and kind of disappointed but I wont stop hoping that she is happy and her life turns out good for her.

@kireikoori, sorry, I meant like...chubby cheeks? not necessarily pudgy. But she always seemed a bit chunkier then the other tall drinks of water (and Mari XDD) But oh well. That's just what I think. She's cute in the crayola crayon way (ummm... I mean the little kid way) rather then the megasexy Maki Goto way. And I understand that she has gotten skinnier but it's still creepy to me because even when I look at the most current pictures I have of her, I am always reminded of her when she was 13.
We've all grown up with Aibon (well, not really...But you get the point, we've watched her since she was 12 or 13) and I think we've all become really close to her idol personality. I think it's kind of creepy for us fans who have known her since she was a child want to see her naked. It's like wanting to see your little sister naked or something, GROSS! And think that's what CaptainNono meant by the "that's not cool if you're a Kago fan :/" statement. We love Aibon for her personality and the way she acted as a little kiddie so why should we want to see her naked? But oh well, to each their own. I'm a girl so I have a very different mentality and "relationship" to Aibon then many male fans. I won't condemn anyone, though! We all share the same weird fandom :DD

Considering how Kago acted whenever I saw her on Hello! Morning's etc., if this does turn out to be true (sort of doubting it) then I think I may know where to classify Kago. Some people just like to be in the spotlight, and can't let it go (think of all the crappy reality stars in the U.S. like the black woman from The Apprentice trying to milk her 15 minutes of fame for all she can; don't remember her name and no I'm not being racist). Maybe Kago had gotten so used to being a celeb/idol that after she got suspended for being caught smoking, she started thinking about what she was going to do if UFA dropped her. So she probably met the guy she is with now, and he's all talk and has connections in some industries so she probably allowed herself to be taken in by this guy. I'm guessing she never intended to straighten herself up (i.e. quit smoking etc.). So maybe she is doing this to stay in the spotlight, that's my theory. I mean it's certainly not a bad way to remain in the public eye (morality aside), it would be the headline of every news source in Japan. If she actually wants to pursue some sort of career of this ilk, this would certainly bring in calls from all over... OR, this could all just be bullpuckey and it's a one-sided thing, like her boyfriend guy suggested it and the info was leaked.
It's a good thing (or maybe bad? =p) I never found Kago appealing/attractive, so I could really care less which way this goes. Although it would be very interesting if it is true (both in the sense of what kind of impact that would have on the industy and how Kago has matured) no real consequence for me either way. I don't think it matters either way whether you want to see Kago nude or not, because if she does nude photos, everyone is going to see them sooner or later. There's no escaping it (unless you stop using the internet altogether; good luck with that =p).
