He's appeared on that Quiz Hexagon show that Satoda has been frequently appearing on for the past few months. As a matter of fact, on one episode I remember Satoda and Shouji were made to stand side by side to see if they'd look good as a couple, and apparently it scored a pretty big hit with the panelists. XD
In the end, as a Miki fan, as painful as it may be to think of her dating this dude...if it's true and if he makes her happy, then that's all that matters. It's not like it should make us stop being fans and supporting her, after all. That'd just be stupid.
EDIT: Just came to mind, I wonder how big Sanma's gonna tease her about it on the next Young Town Doyoubi radio show?

Honestly, I simultaneously find it serious and funny. I'm not surprised about this type of news popping up around album release time. I'm more shocked that the guy she is linked with is Shouji! XD
I guess this is the real test for UpFront. Do they have the balls to get rid of a "franchise player"? And what is the general consensus over at 2ch?

Not Miki too...my nerves can't handle H!P anymore! Losing Miki would be a blow for H!P and the fans. Hopefully, this will turn out to be either a rumor, an exaggeration, or treated as no big deal (hey, I can hope). Maybe she'll just get a slap on the wrist, or "decide" to resign from Morning Musume like Yaguchi did. Honestly, I would be thrilled if she started up her solo career again.
UpFront needs to reconsider their policies; they're losing girls left and right. I hope we get an official statement tomorrow (only if it's good news!) and they don't leave us hanging.

I gotta agree with royalpalmtree. The way UpFront reacts to these things and their overall policy only invites more and more of these reports. Im sure stuff in HP has occurred which if it was known would be front page news. The bigger the deal people make the more magazineswill sell, meaning they will look for these "scandals" even harder. I also don't understand the notion that if the story is true Miki has made some grave mistake. She may be an idol but she's not a robot.

The fans are gonna react the way fans react. The biggest uproar in things like this comes from a section of fans not the whole lot of them, but the company will gear their actions to appease those loud fans. This is the problem with idol groups like MM. The head cheeses still try to hang on to that old notion of what an "idol" should be. They work to build up the images of each of the girls but when that image is tainted in any way the blame goes on that person. The career of an idol is not meant for longevity. The longer someone is an idol the harder it will be to keep up the needed image.

Ai wouldn't end up leader. Leader isn't picked from the oldest always and this would probably be one of those cases. Niigaki has a much higher chance, she's much more of the leader of her generation anyways.

Kitsuiko, doesn't the sub-leader automatically become leader when the leader quits, graduates, or gets fired? If so, Aichan is the sub-leader currently, so she would absolutely end up as the leader if Miki is taken out. And you just know she'd pick Risa as her sub-leader...

I agree Miki doesn´t match with that ....comedian...all the members went out with actors, etc....and she founds a comedian..but I can´t imagine together it see strange
And Niigaki was the leader of the generation, but I still think she´s a young for that charge(MM leader), maybe it´s my imgination.
