I will definitely miss Kanna, but if this is what she wants to do (or needs to do), then that's her choice. I wish her luck in having a fun normal (as normal as she can get for now) life. Perhaps we'll see her in entertainment again in the future. :)

2. The images mentioned in the article, are unpublished images that UFA found out about, putting UFA, C-ute and Kanna in a bad spot if they ever were to be released.

You don't get graduation concerts in H!P when you are involved with breaking the very rules you are supposed to adhere to.
You get a short notice on the official homepage of Hello!Project, stating something like "So and so member has decided to leave because of studies/regular life, please continue to support Hello!Project. Goodbye."
Having a boyfriend does not help you in any way as an idol.

even though I'm not her biggest fan it really saddens me that she's leaving. Whenever someone leaves it doesn't feel right until everyone gets used to it. *sigh* I don't know if it really is the foot problems she's having or the boyfriend issue, but all I know is that I'll miss her a lot. Way to ruin a perfectly good afternoon...

@ewoodham: that was in the contract before the wota came into play. There were many who have fallen to the boyfriend scandal: Kago Ai (plus the smoking scandal), Yaguchi Mari, and Fujimoto Miki and all without graduations. Well, for the exception for Aibon since she graduated first to be in W, then the scandals came out.
It was in the contract, it was going to happen. It's sad that Kanna had to leave but it was also her decision to have a boyfriend knowing the risk. It's a big deal for these type of scandals in Japan. I mean, just saying a few bad words to an officer could get you suspended from performing or being completely drunk in public and embarrassing yourself can cause you to make a FULL apology to the entire nation. That's just the way it is.
We will all miss Kanna!

I like how everyone just KNOWS it was a boyfriend and the whole surgery was a lie...
Maybe she had to have surgery and realized how much she likes the freedom of being normal. Or maybe her surgery wasn't perfect and she is still in pain...Or maybe she's got a man. As right as 2ch is a lot of the time, it's not really the best source.

i love Kanna so this is affecting me emotionally...
i kind of predicted this before but i never want to believe it... but now... huhu it happen..
after seeing c-ute did great without Kanna (their single's sales) I can see why UFA decide to remove her...
i cant believe c-ute has lost 2 members that in my top 3 of c-ute... Megu & Kanna (1st & 3rd), now leaving only Airi who is in 2nd place... huhu
