Poor Iida....I hope that one day she will have another baby to help ease the pain of the loss of this one. I see that she took some months to come to terms with her greif. I can't even imagine. I would be a mess for longer. I really admire Kaori though. I always have. I think when the time comes for another baby, she will be a wonderful mother. I pray for her future children's health, her mental healing, the family, and her marriage.

Hopefully Kaori and her husband's relationship has grown stronger as they dealt with this tragedy. It would be even more tragic if they were to divorce as some couples do because of the grief and sadness involved. Condolences and best wishes for the family in their time of mourning and healing.

Considering the severity of the situation it must have taken a lot of time to deal with it and be prepared to let the news be public. I can not even imagine what it would have been like if Kaori had been more popular when this happened since she probably would have had to dealt with the press a lot sooner.

It's just so tragic. I think we're all rightly shocked by this news. Poor Kaori. My heart goes right out to her.

I'm amazed that the Japanese press had the dignity to sit on this story for so long. If it had happened in the west, the Sun would have printed pictures within a week.
