Finally, it comes....
But will UFA let Morning Musume totally getting out from the TV screen? They SHOULD have done something, and I hope I can still see MM in TV.sigh.

I hope the next show isn't just focused on Morning Musume, even though they're 389237498327432897493827432894732987 x better than C-ute and Berryz combined. xD

Maybe a Wonderful Hearts based show? with the old school H!M format. H!M 2.0! xD

In this case, it's not up to UFA, it's up to whichever TV broadcast company, and what they want to air. If they find that a program is a waste of money and airtime, they cancell it. It's quite simple really.

I hope the are cancelling it to restructre haromoni@ into something like hello! morning so they can get back the 99% viewers they lost.

Argh, this is shit. As much as the show went down in quality, this is / was a major sunday ritual for me. Just like waking up early to watch cartoons as a kid.

Sundays will never be the same :(

I just hope we get something else from UFA to replace this. Maybe not a TV show but more DVD releases? Or better extras on DVD releases.

I dunno...today is a day of mourning. I will find something black to wear...

I'm not surprised by this since most people wherent watching it awyway, it was a lame shadow of Hello Morning and mostly booring.

While I didn't have the same love I did for H!M, I'm still uber bummed they're canceling the whole thing.

Maybe they could bring back old H!M. You know, the one with the cute skits and weird games.

This hurts. Now I have nothing to look forward to on sundays, church? Haromoni was my religion, anything else is just blasphemy (not really but you get the idea on how upset I am T_T).

I'm with Danseryu~ ToT

Haromoni@ made me look forward to the weekend and gave me energy for the new week *sigh*

IDK~ I just like seeing the girls even though the show wasn't all that entertaining. To be honest, I don't really care what the next show will be about (if there will be one) as long as Momusu is in it and the youngings don't take over .... they need to do something that will capture a larger audience not just the fans.

And just after I started watching it regularly again...! I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm still pretty upset. It was no Hello! Morning, but it was entertaining enough. Darn. :(

I hope it's replaced with something, but I'm not going to get my hopes up...

I don't think they are clever enough to keep a remake of Hello! Morning. At least, I can't imagine what types of activities they would be doing on the show...

Besides, the old members were so full of energy and the chemistry between them was great. I think thats why it was so entertaining.

I didn't like H!M@ too much at first, but I liked the way it had been going since about January. Shame it's over, but with that super-low audience percentage they had, its not surprising.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. >_<

You'd think after the first few weeks of having below 1% ratings, the producers would have actually come up with something interesting to draw viewers. But nooooooooooooooooo...they did nothing but stick the girls with doing MouTube skits.

..should have seen it coming...wasn't the airtime continuously shrinking or something?

blahh...they better have some kind of entertaining show starring them to replace it...
or there will be WAR! >:U

er...MANY COMPLAINTS BY US FANS IF WE ARE PASSIONATE ENOUGH!

well, it was very clear that haromoni is not the right thing to attract new viewers from the beginning. only hardcore fans (like me^^) would watch this.

hellomorning had the whole theatre thing which i would have also liked to see when i was not a fan.

i hope they have a new show. maybe they could make one, which is a lot like hellomorning. not only the current morning musume but the older generations should be featured too^^

They just need to bring back Hello! Morning Theatre. SNL/MadTV style skitz. Guchi + Yuko police combo = win. And Ogawa was win all by herself.

I'd like to see the young generation Berryz/Cute do adlib/improv.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn!
I thought the show was generally pretty crappy, but I didn't want to see it go. I'm still mourning the loss of H!M, but I won't cry over the death of Haromoni@. I've watched less than a third of the episodes and regretted bothering with a good number of those, so I never got attached to it.

In any case, if there aren't any rumors of a new show at this point I don't think there'll be a new one. Why would someone give a TV program to someone who has shown they can't draw more than 1%? This looks like it will be the permanent loss of a major promotional arm, and doesn't appear to be good news for Morning Musume and by extension all of H!P.

Oh well, in my eyes this loss is neither unexpected nor terribly tragic. I, for one, will manage to move on.

I hope they'll come up with a new, innovative and much more entertaining show to air on the same time slot. But It really feel sad to know Hello Morning - Haromoni@ runs a very long time and had just been ended/ canceled like that... -_-

"Perhaps another, all-new show featuring the group will appear, but there's been no official announcement so far. Also, given the ratings of Haromoni@, it seems unlikely."

I seriously doubt UFA will let Momusu be without their own show for too long. I think they'll take some time off to regroup, hopefully restaff their creative dept., and return shortly, preferably in a late-night/early-morning time slot, where their low viewership won't be as big a deal.

I still watched haromoni@ because it would always have it's moments from time to time. So hearing this royally sucks...

But what gets me is that they might stop making an MM show altogether. I highly doubt UFA will let that happen (well at least I'm hoping anyway) but the thought of it still... actually I don't even wanna think about it.

@Aldous: So, air it the same time they air crappy otaku animes? Sadly, that sounds about right...

Well, this is a fine how do you do. Hello! Morning was what got me into H!P, so I'll miss this second incarnation of it quite a bit; more in a metaphorical sense, since I don't watch it every week anymore.

The fact that MM had their own tv show was a little feather in their cap, something that gave them more cache than other idols. Now, the feather is floating away. Exposure is key. Now, there's a little bit less exposure for H!P artists on tv; no place to plug a group’s new single, or photobooks, or dvd's. Regardless of how good of a show Haromoni@ was, it was a vital vehicle for H!P to push products to fans.

At least that stupid sarcastic king baby won’t have anything to do with H!P, anymore. :-) Now, Berikyuu just needs to get rid of its host. I'll never understand why they think these shows need some host/moderator that isn't in H!P. These girls are idols. They can tell us what silly thing they are going to do next just fine.

As much as I am not too attached to Haromoni@ as I was with Hello!Morning, it's still a heart sinker to see it go. It may not be as good as H!M, but I'd say that it's far more entertaining than say...no weekly show at all (since there hasn't been any announcements yet).

Hopefully something good will come of this.

It's over!? OMG!!! ...What am I saying? The cancelation of the show doesn't surprise me one bit; and I know I'm going to get a few hate comments after I post this...

I really do miss the old H!M...*sigh* (-.-)...
True, when HM@ started after the original was abolished, I was on board with it until Yossy and Miki officially left the show... ...so ever since then, I haven't been keeping up with the recent/new episodes (as is the fact with most everyone else); plus, I don't really count as a part of the low ratings/viewership anyways, since I don't live in Japan or watch it on actual TV, now do I?
But I sort of have a bit of regret for not watching it anymore; it's really hard for me to keep my interest in the current MoMusu and their news...TakaGaki and the 6th gen. are the only ones who are keeping me with the group. It's true yet again, I'm an OG fan through and through...

Though, it's safe to say that we still have the episodes that were made while they could...right?
IF there is a plan for a new AND hopefully, better show...I suggest it including MM/H!P OG's or s/t... ...just my opinion. Heck, even bring in the kids, and I bet atleast a bit of the ratings will go up...
Hate to be mean here, but currently, I'd prefer to watch Berikyuu (which, I am watching), than the current HM...sad, isn't it? Adding the fact that Berikyuu episodes are a measly full 5/+ mins. per episode during a very late night timeslot; but that's the reality of it. --- I know there are a ton of fans who still kept up with HM@ and all; and are devastated with the news of it's cancellation soon...but we can only hope for something better in the future. Ganbatte current MoMusu... ... ...

On another note, there's a majority that don't want the "kids" to be the next rulers of H!P... I doubt that... maybe, some day... MoMusu is still MoMusu; they've got a huge history... but then again, if things are going to be like this, and spiral down into getting worse... might as well make Berikyuu the new mothership. I know I'm going to end up taking back that last sentence later on today... (=_=)

I stopped getting up early sundays to get my dosage of Hello! Morning long before the show was axed, simply because the script was on repeat. Haromoni@ was even worse in that sense and the recycled scripts were even less interesting.

This really came as no surprise.

I'm pretty sure H!P/MM will have to prove their right for a new TV-slot with some -quality- material before they are given regular airtime again. And looking at how both H!M and HM@ has been going downwards entertainment wise for the last 2-3 years, I doubt UFA or H!P has the writers or the will to pull it off.

Because lets face it: This catastrophe of a trainwreck TV-show could have been saved ages ago had there been a will to do it.

Very good. End that "not-so-good-compared-to-hello! morning" tv show! I don't watch Haromoni@ that much cos it's so different than good ol' Hello! Morning. Hope they will return with something better than Haromoni@ and make it fast! Can't wait to see them in a new program.

if they do decide to do another show besides this one it better involve all of H!P instead of just MM alone. i'd be interesting to see all the groups battle it out on something. Even bringing back the old gen...some of them anyway, on the show. ratings would skyrocket i guarantee it. perhaps a new H!P Huge conflict Battle in Hawaii?! i wish.....

Saw this in the members forums first, but I must say, it's quite reasonable. Yet what will happen next? I'm hoping for the reconstruction, and maybe it would include other H!P members as well as celebrity guests.

It's painful, very painful... but it's their own fault for feeding us such drivel. I watched the show out of love for Musume, but AKB were really showing how to make TV shows based on idols really damn fun. None of the food-eating, memory game, Moutube stuff they made Musume do.

I agree with Topracer01, or at least, I agree with the first two sentences. ^^; The way only MM was spotlighted, going solo as well as being in any other group meant doom for your career.

Anyways, the title of this H!O article is such a downer. It should be more like, "Harmoni@ TOO BE cancelled." There's still a good month left for some final, desperate enjoyment, interrupted with periodic grief.

Heh. First, people complained about Hello! Morning being repetative and dull. Then, the general concensus about the new Haromoni@ seemed to be, "screw this show! We liked the old show better!"

Well, now you got no show, at all. How's them apples? Tasty, and not at all ironic, I'll bet. ;-)

As sad as this is I'm somewhat glad it'll be over. I collected the episodes for collecting sake but could hardly force myself to watch them. The ground rule with movie/TV making is: Good writing first, second and third. And then everything else.
Why UFA did not hire the talent to make this show (even in its reduced form) more entertaining (which with a few fresh ideas wouldn't have been that difficult) is beyond me. And whether UFA still has enough cloud with TV Tokyo remains to be seen.
As for lack of exposure now...judging from the ratings no one was watching it anyhow anymore...
Hopefully they will learn something from this debacle and come back with a fresh concept that doesn't bore the hell out of everyone. And hopefully they will get that chance...
