Ohh noes :S But I think here eyes look dofferent from Miyabi. And many fans copy the ways they'r fans dress that's no evidence. I think Miya's chin looks thiner from the side the girls chin on the pic looks more chubby.

Although I'm happy for her if it really is her (I think it is from the pic ><), I would not be happy if Buono disbanded...

If something bad comes from this, I'll really have to rethink what my opinion of H!P is.

This is so far from being something serious or bad.

oh no even if its true do these newspapers or magazines know what they are doing. By doing this Miyabi might leave H!P and that would end her and Bouno, is that really worth a couple of pages?

honestly.
I agree with the fact it should not be a problem for someone to be dating another person while in their career, why should it be a big deal.

but you know, if you made a commitment beforehand saying "i will not date nor come in contact with anyone for a relationship during the course of my career." Well...then breaking it would be bad no? In a sense, when you sign that company contract, you made an oath.

It shouldn't be allowed to make a contract with rules like that.
You can't expect someone to abide by a kind of rule like that, whether they sign and agree or not.

All of them have boyfriends. >>
They're just normal teenagers. When you think about how many there are in H!P, it's obvious at least half of them will have a boyfriend, it would be weird in Japan not to at that age. Or at least have close male friends.

I don't think it is Miyabi personally, by the way.

instead of trying to uphold an image of female chastity and unrealistic emotional attitudes and then firing girls based on their natural development from girls to women ... Up-Front might need to step up and look at the fact that emotional development of girls goes far beyond their dancing and singing careers and maybe they need to look at the modern female and embrace/counsel/support that instead of shunning it and trying to pretend it doesn't exist by making these girls sign these contracts. Emotional development, dating, sexual development is NORMAL and NATURAL at these girls ages ... trying to stamp it out and punishing girls for their natural development into women is just as narrowminded as some tribes who IRON girls breasts to keep them from developing. Up-Front needs to stop trying to keep girls as little girls and let them grow up in all aspects ... I'm not saying let them run around and smoke and have sex at their ages, but just like any parent or responsible adult, you need to set realistic limits that both help educate the girl to proper behavior and also not make the NATURAL DEVELOPMENT of her psyche, personality, and femaleness be some kind of taboo that she needs to keep hidden. It's THEIR POLICIES that need to change and not these girls. If they want to continue to use these girls of various ages to make their bottom line of yen ... then they need to start recognizing them as more than idols and also as developing young girls and start understanding what that means. More and more things like this are going to happen and its becoming a trend. I'm not saying that the pictures are or arent of this girl from Berryz. My point is just that obviously Up-Front needs to expand out of the male stone ages and start thinking about the future and the mental health of these girls. Think about Kago ...

Question my roommate (who doesn't give two craps about Jpop) asked: Are the boys also not allowed to have girlfriends or is this rule only applied to the girls?

theses photos are very low qulaity so they can't judge by it unless you can clearly see their faces and most people dress like that just because this girl in the photo has long black hair like miyabi, does this mean everyone who's got long black hair who wears a cap mean they are miyabi then?
lol
i don't think is true
even if it is doesn't mean they are boyfriends and girlfriends and even if they are i don't mind as a fan, having a boyfriend doesn't affect her work, she stills sings well and still work hard!

After seeing the high-res videos, it's fairly obvious to me that it really is Miyabi there. I'll try to get the videos into the story soon.

And this comes up every time, but yes, it SHOULD be okay for her to do things like this, but sadly, it just isn't. Maybe things will change someday, but for now, I have a feeling she's in a bit of trouble.

looks like the sexy otonajan curse is done.
another faildol complete. :(

after all the scandals you would think the girls would be smarter than this. sigh.
if you don't want to be an idol anymore and want to be a normal teen/person and live a "normal" life, QUIT OR RETIRE, FADE AWAY AND ***THEN*** LIVE YOUR LIFE. STOP DOING THIS CRAP WHEN YOU'RE STILL UNDER CONTRACT, WHEN YOU'RE STILL TRYING TO KEEP THE FACE OF AN IDOL. YOU SCREW UP THINGS FOR ALL THE OTHER GIRLS AND YOUR GROUPMATES.

Maybe it's her, maybe not... this should be non of our business.
Just ignore it and it most probably will go away without any consequences.
It seems Up-Front is not so much bothered by such a roumer as it was in the past.
The roumers about Kamei had no effect and maybe even Mikitty might have gotten away with it if she just had kept a low profile for a while...

I hope it's not true, but would a famous guy like that really date a regular girl that looks that much like Miyabi?

I don't think UFA rules need to change at all. Other idol agencies don't have as many problems as UFA does, I think that it was a downhill train ever since Yaguchi got caught with her boyfriend. Some girls must think "Well, Yaguchi did it and she's ok, so I'll be fine." Idols should NOT have boyfriends. It ruins their image. The girls chose to be idols and agree to it, they should stick to the contract they signed.

Just because many girls have broken the rules doesn't make it any more ok for them to do so. If we just let the girls do what they want, THEY WILL NOT SELL. Maybe to US, but not Japanese fans, especially wotas.

@techrev: As much as I love these girls, to accept what any of the perpetraitors (bad spelling lols) have done as being "natural" and completely acceptable and therefore should be forgiven by UFA, that gives no dicipline to them as an idol. If they don't follow the rules, they're out, no matter how much I love them and wish they didn't make the wrong choice. It's not like these girls are being FORCED to live this way, they signed a CONTRACT.

*sigh* I can understand an idol being forgiven by her fans, but if this were true, Miyabi should have consequences. Even so, I don't think it really looks like her... but it's purely the principle that I'm arguing and the fact that people think that idols should get a bop on the butt with the old newspaper whenever they do something wrong, like a dog, then they really need to see the reality of agreeing to have the life of an idol.
EDIT: Yes, Kuno, I am very interested in the high-res video. Thanks for all of this info. :)

@techrev
Up-front do not forbd them to grow up or date, they just don't want them to expose themselves. They can do anything, as long as they do it hidden. Since they signed the contract, i think they must follow the rules.

I had no idea "leave a moderation message" actually meant 'send to moderators'. x_x
I thought it would just show why you edited something.

@techrev: From the people I've asked, it would seem they do too.
Which is good. Because I would think Hello!Project was extremely sexist otherwise.
Still not good for either gender, though.

And it seems like male idol is not as strict, which is bad.

Despite ANY contract rules, a teenage girl is a teenage girl at the end of the day. They aren't being stupid or making mistakes, they're trying to live our their dreams but at the same time discovering themselves. Suggesting that she screwed her company, her image, and her group over just by going out with a boy she likes, that is highly unrealistic, especially since this doesn't have to be nearly as big a deal as UFA is going to make it.
This is one of several "scandals" in which a teenage girl or woman has been spotlighted just for dating. Regardless of the agreements in their contract, I think its safe to say that the IDOLS aren't the ones making the mistakes (in most cases). They can't expect to keep all their talents by forcing them not to date.
I'm not saying she shouldn't be punished for going against the rules, but realistically the punishment shouldn't cost her her job or a full year out of work.
The sad thing about this is that Inoo will probably get a slap on the wrist for this, while Miya....why even go down that road?
To answer the question "does it apply to girls and boys or just girls?", that really depends on how well the company manages its idols, and how far they are willing to go to keep them out of trouble, I guess.

gaijin_mmlove: While it does seem unfair, it's not our choice what they agree to do. The thing is, they ARE keeping most of their talents, even though there are lots of rules against dating. These scandals that have broken out may seem like a big deal but percentage wise, most girls are going by the rules and acting appropriately.

綺麗な氷: It's sexist either way, yeah, but if you think about it, it's like that in every other country, too. In the US, Miley Cyrus poses for a magazine with her back exposed and everyone flips a shit over a 15 year old showing as much skin as she would in a swimsuit. Bad example because I hate that girl, but you get what I mean. I don't think men and women will EVER be looked at in the same way in that perspective, and while it's not fair, the girls choose to participate in it regardless.

I'm going crazy. Please don't fire her! I don't give a ratsass if she has a bf.

I'm hoping for this to fade away but there's so strong vid/pics it's not that big of a chance! I mean Risakos pic was almost proven fake (right?) and Kamei was not in any really clear pics (and they were old pics, right?)
Darn it.

Cancelled solo show tomorrow? What do you think?

WOW. In the single enlargeable pic (the one with her cap on and his off), girl sure looks like Miyabi. Wonder if last year's leaked backstage audio feed of Yoshizawa and Fujimoto's private speculation about Miyabi's chastity was based on something they knew about her relationship with this boy?
QUESTION: Should Berryz now just forge ahead as 6-member group, or look for a replacement ASAP? If the latter, who would be the best candidate?

That is the most unbelievably sweet thing I have ever seen, even if I felt slightly voyeuristic and creepy watching it. I, like... I probably won't even care if she gets fired, that was just so amazingly cute. That, and she's not particularly one of my favorites anyway? BUT THE POINT STILL STANDS.

Sigh. Adorable. :(
