Nah. She only has a few more months of idol left in her, so she wants to do it NOW because it won't be available later. The emphasis is on 'now', not 'being an idol.' "While I'm here, I should take one more go at it..." like taking a last drive around a hometown you have been working your whole life to escape. (I'm not saying she was trying to escape being an idol, (I don't know) just a similar "while I'm here" feeling)
