Chisato's answer is kinda terrible, honestly. Someone sufficiently frustrated or down in the dumps getting told that could just as easily feel even worse and just end up mad at the person for guilt-tripping.

^ Agreed - I mean, it's a very common sentiment, and very "pretty", but indirectly belittles other peoples problems. There's ALWAYS going to be someone worse off - why say it, and why expect that to make people feel better? Though the intention behind it is moreso to be grateful for what you have, count your blessings etc., but in that case, people should just say that, lol.

Love Okai's answer, not often you see her keeping it real, I like her a bit more now because of that. Nakky's answer was also good too.

Doesn't matter how down I might be feeling, just having Chisato speak to me would brighten my day. She could even cuss me out and I'd swoon! LOL Oh, but seriously, Chisato has shown in her blog posts to be so very empathetic, I doubt those words would come out as grating.

You guys lol. xD I don't think people understand that there are real people out there that are living a much tougher life, (North Korea for example) Okai and Nakky is basically saying be thankful for what you have, come to terms of that and realize life isn't all that bad when you stop and look at the bigger picture. :) The world does not revolve around you.
