Loved reading their conversation/interview!! Reading two people from the industry who know what they are talking about is so much more refreshing than reading fans talking about something they know absolutely nothing about.
I love that Tsunku doesn't write hit songs. He writes what he feels at the time. That's hard to do in an industry that caters to fans who only care about sales and what's popular. Thanks for the translation!!

Very interesting!! I love hearing about Tsunku's writing process.
Tsunku is more careless when praising members/saying their bad points than I thought he would be.I guess it's not that taboo for him to mention stuff like that or compare the current lineup to Platinum-era, but at least he's honest with what he says. lol

Dayum - I was surprised that they brought up Zukkis weight.
It was a really interesting read though. I feel like I know so little about Tsunku or the song writing process, that this was really satisfying to read.
I also didn't know that those male voices in all those songs were really his. I knew that it was the same guy, but somehow I didn't think it was actually him.

Thank you so much for this translation~ I think both Tsunku-san and Hyadain-san are great composers... and also, the referenced songs <3 I already knew some of them. Tahara Toshihiko's (You misspelled his name as "Toshihoko", btw) Dakishimete TONIGHT is one of my favorite j-pop songs of all time. As expected, Tsunku-san has good taste in music.

I have LONGED for an article like this, where Tunku-san talks in depth about recording the songs we all know and lvoe so much. A true Pop Music Genius. i just never thought it woudl be translated so I could read it!

Great read, thanks so much for the translation! Tsunku always seems quite honest in his interviews which is quite refreshing to see.
Agree with the others, it'd be great if we could get the show next week too but certainly understand if not since it'd be quite a bit of work.

Of course, I'm not so surprised that I agreed with like EVERYTHING they said, I love them both. But it does make me feel happy to hear Tsunku talking about the Platinum the way I feel about them (power & maturity) rather than the way this board talks about them.(poor sales)
I totally love that Tsunku writes music for the group that he wants to hear out of them, instead of writing for the audience. Look out! An actual musician at the wheel.
