Good answers all around. Ai;s answer made me realize that Ayaya and her are the same age. I never thought about that till she mentioned it.
Koharu does have a good spirit about her. She seems to have limitless energy and I really admire that in her.
Ishikawa has bad luck? This is news to me. Viyuden is disbanding so I guess that is true @ least for now.
Yossi is the essence of cool. Mr. Moonlight... that's all I gotta say~

Lin Lin is right about Tanaka. And I thought Tanaka's answer was interesting itself, as I think she is, in almost every way, the idol's idol. She is not, in fact, my favorite; but, if you poured all the ingredience of what makes a perfect idol into a machine, what you'd get would be something very similar to Tanaka. Her attitude, demenour, what she says and what she does shows that she knows the job better than anyone. She could be the textbook on "How to be a good idol."

Very interesting question (especially compared to some other Pocket Morning questions. Although, they all still manage to be cute :) )
I really like how most of them look up to their senpai. Their admiration is adorable.
I can understand Gaki-san's and Mitsui's answer. Koharu is one of those people that you find hard to picture as a serious/easily angered person. I have a friend just like that.

Some of these crack me up: "She’s seen many years and she's still cute." That's a fun backhanded compliment. Koharu may rock, but I doubt she'll have the staying power of Abe Natsumi. There's a reason Natsumi's eternal; she's unique. It’s the same with Nakazawa Yuko. I never get tired of seeing either of them.
If one of the girls really wanted to make me their fan, they would have picked themselves as their favorite Idol. This was your chance, Ai, you massive bore. There's a reason that, despite being the best singer and live performer in H!P, you have no solo career to speak of.

I don't mean this as a slam, but I think Koharu's one of those girls you have to know in person to appreciate. I've always thought she was kind of annoying, but it's probably because she seems sort of fake on TV and she always has her "persona", but in person she's probably much more toned down. Makes me wish Koharu was more natural so I could see what Mittsi and Gaki-san appreciate about her.

i always knew that Ayaya and Aichan are of the same age, but am never conscious of it until it is brought up like this. I was surprised that LinLin picked Reina, but then again Reina rocks xD
but yeah, if Maki was still around i think at least Aichan and Reina would've picked her. too bad she isn't available as one of the choices for the answer.

That's the dumbest comment I've ever read. If that's what it takes to make you a fan, I'd prefer that you're not a fan of any of these girls. I'm sure even Ayaya wouldn't have chosen herself if she was asked this question.
Btw the reason Aichan still has no solo career is pretty simple. The current Momusu wouldn't survive without her.

I don't think that was *really* the point he was trying to make. He's saying that it was her chance to jump out and do something besides precisely what's expected of her. I don't necessarily find her boring, per se, but I can see what he's getting at - she doesn't really do much to attempt to stick out as a memorable figure, even less now than when she joined. She is, however, EXTREMELY good at what she does.
However, I would argue that Kusumi doesn't have the staying power that Abe does. Sure, she's not as good as Abe (yet), but she IS strong and seemingly full of potential, and she's not even as old as Abe was when she started her career. Of course, only the future will actually tell, but she seems to me to have one of the brightest futures of the Musume.
And now that I think about it, I am quite surprised Michishige didn't pick herself.
