Might Buy.. I love the song & video( even though I don't think she'll ever top balalaika) Its still very cute. Her voice however.. I thought it was getting better( like in egao yes nude & MM 10) but she sounds kinda bad.

People are so judgmental. Ya know I'm happy for her. I hope she releases more singles. If I could be in Musume that is all I need, but to be the youngest solo artist and your not even that far into voice training in all. It must be hard. If I were her I would be totally wiped out. She never seems to loose her energy though. Maybe that's why she's in Musume.

The song is all right... the PV is chou chou chou chou kawaii! XD It really shows that Koharu works very hard. She, Aika, and Lin Lin bring this super sunniness to MM.

Sorry, I usually don't dislike things like this but that was total garbage. Musically, that song lacked everything a song requires, the only thing it had was a consistantly empty chorus. I'm just disappointed in Koharu and Tsunku/whoever else produced wrote this.
Reply to some comments above, Koharu isn't tired sometimes cause she's lip synching at some concerts, if you hadn't noticed.
And to Ronin, I haven't seen the numbers in a month and a bit, but I definitely think Ayaya sells way more records than Koharu. She sells more than morning musume on some releases.

ugh, I hate how in this single she sings in the back of her throat >.< And yeah, I think that Ayaya sells WAY more then Koharu. After all, she's the highest paid H!P idol. *shrugs* I've never really liked Koharu, she doesn't have the charm that Aibon and Tsuji had [together]...

I kinda get the feeling that they're trying so hard to make her look waaaay too cute. Maybe it's just because she's in Kirarin Revolution, but she's growing up now and maybe they (or Tsunku) can produce a bit more matured song *with a hint of cuteness if they still want her to look cute anyway*. As for Matsuura Aya, well, she was *naturally* cute, so I guess they didnt have to exaggerate her lol XD And her songs evolved (if that's the term to use) as she grew up, so Im ok with that. I dont hate Koharu, in fact I have great respect for her after seeing her performance in Ribbon no Kishi, but Im expecting a little bit more, especially now that she's in [Tanjo 10...] and singing major lines in Momusu songs..Goodluck to her anyway =)

After watching Chance a second time, Koharu looks amazing in the video, the music is awesome, and the video is wonderful, but I still feel as if Koharu could sing a lot better. In my opinion, Koharu sings better with Morning Musume (and I still don't think she's that great) than just as a solo artists.
I actually just might buy this single in the future.

Wow i was freaked out at -.50secs left in the video, please Koha, do not open your mouth in close up mode. Yikes scary. I have to say after listening 2 times, the song is ok, nothing special. Doesn't make her any more of a star than she is. Just seems they went for the quick buck instead of making her into a star. F()ckin conservative media!!!

Yeah peeps, currently Koharu sells more than Aya by like 20 or 30 thousand... but if we are talking about the wonderful times years ago, yeah she sold more. Sales were also much higher back then. I think we should support her because she is trying hard and she is bringing in lots of new fans to H!P from the anime. But, of course, to each their own. :D

I think most people are forgetting that Koharu isn't selling solos as a solo artist. Her singles are made for her anime which is aimed at younger kids so of course it would be silly and she would look overly cute. And her dances would be more kid oriented. She's not like Aya or Maki in the way there trying to sell singles for her only thing. She has Musume and her solo is just a side thing.

These are idols.... I'm sorry but even the best singers in H!P still don't compare to the best of the real singers out there. (Yes *gasp* there are better singers than Aya in the real world...but she has a really unique voice, that sets her apart from others, as i will talk about in a little bit)
There was a documentary if i recall correctly that talked about idols (i think rika was on that show...) One of the pioneers in the idol industry didn't really have a great singing voice nor was she trained to get any better. it was her imperfections that made her great, and her personality. It was said that no one could sing her songs like she could because of that. When it comes to idols it encompasses a more broader image.
(For Example) Too be honest, at first I didnt really care for melon kinenbi's songs, BUT that didnt stop me from loving those girls when they were on hello morning, or at the track & field events, or even the random tv show appearances. I started to love Murata Megumi as an idol (I take that back.. As an Entertainer), Not because of her singing, but because of her humorous personality and wackiness. Anyone remember her as the masked wrestler? or how about her time during the news segment?
Too me it's not so much about the music when it comes to idols as it is about the person that is behind it. I love koharu, how she is always so happy, cute, and a bundle of energy in everything she does.
***I don't mean to offend anyone, and i'm not trying to change anyone's mind about the industry. This is just a matter of my own personal opinion, and i just thought i'd share why I like it personally. And I want to make it clear that I am speaking for myself Only, and not for anyone else. cause it's not like I don't agree that her choregraphy could be a little better and her singing voice isn't the greatest thing. but it isnt horrible either... as a side note: i'm somewhat a rika fan, and I know JPH!P has a big rika fan base, and I tell you what... Rika's voice is pretty bad in itself. Have you heard her sing poupee du son on that one show where they were talking about "unique" idols? not too good... but she's has been a good entertainer since she joined H!P. although she's kinda getting annoying, but i still kinda like her.

I'm not going to comment on the song, because I didn't like it on the initial listen ( though, that's what I thought with Happy, and I eventually liked it). But I really like this new direction in the H!P music videos. I wonder if now we saw the last of the really cheap music videos with Onna Sachi Are.

But Koharu's style IS really special and all that stuff and thats probably why she got chosen...
But Koharu's style is kinda getting a 2-side effect....

When I first saw the cover I was like...
"Wow.... Does she even have pride with this all getting cuter and cuter??"
Why is she in super pigtails I don't know...
But she's seems to be acting cute all the time...
Like in the picture of Momusu page in ThePPN...
She looks like a child posing for family photos or something...
