The winners of the BEYOOOOONDS "ONLY YOU" audition have finally received their unit name: SeasoningS
SeasoningS (シーズニングス) is a sub-unit of BEYOOOOONDS featuring the winners from the "ONLY YOU" audition. The unit name was revealed on January 24, 2021 in a special YouTube video, where Hirai Miyo was also announced as leader. The name uses "season" in reference to both the addition of spices to a dish and the changing of the seasons during the year, and the hope that the members will utilize their specific talents to add delicious flavor and vivid color to the groups and their performances.

The "ONLY YOU" audition winners were initially revealed in late 2018, and made their debut with BEYOOOOONDS on August 7, 2019 with the single "Megane no Otoko no Ko / Nippon no D.N.A! / Go Waist". They received their first song as a unit in BEYOOOOONDS' debut album "BEYOOOOOND1St" titled "We Need a Name!", which makes fun of their unit not having a name. |
