  Three Kenshuusei to Debut in H!P (5/5/2017)

  It was announced at the Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2017 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~ concert that three members (Ichioka, Danbara, Kawamura) will debut within Hello! Project. It is currently unclear whether they will debut within existing groups or form a new unit.

Similarly, two other trainees (Takase, Kiyono) were chosen to debut as part of a new Kenshuusei section, the particulars of which are unknown except it will be separate from Engeki Joshi-bu theater.

Additionally, with Ichioka's planned debut, Inoue Hikaru was announced as the new Kenshuusei leader.

New Kenshuusei Section
23rd gen member Takase Kurumi (18)
25th gen member Kiyono Momohime (12)

To Debut Within Hello! Project
17th gen member Ichioka Reina (18)
20th gen member Danbara Ruru (15)
26th gen member Kawamura Ayano (17)

The announcements were given by Up-Front representative Nishiguchi following the results for the test (below).
Best Dance Performances - Maeda Kokoro, Horie Kizuki
Best Singing Performances - Yamazaki Yuhane, Inoue Hikaru
Best Character - Hashisako Rin
Best Performance - Danbara Ruru (548 votes), 2nd place Kawamura Ayano

For all five girls, it was said they still need to consult and discuss with the parents. With Ichioka's debut, the Kenshuusei 17th gen becomes the first large (3+) generation of trainees to debut in full.
