  2016/11/11 Pocket Morning Artist Q&A

Country Girls

Q: Please tell us the origin of your name.

Tsugunaga Momoko

It comes from the peach (桃) festival!!

Yamaki Risa

They went with the easy to understand "Risa" which people can remember if I go abroad as well.
Also, my mother likes the Japanese pear (梨) fruit.

Morito Chisaki
Posted Image

There's nothing special (lol)

Ozeki Mai
Posted Image

"Mai" (舞) was so that I would soar high (舞い上がる or maiagaru) in the future.
And on 2/10 the powdered snow was drifting about (舞う or mau/maimasu).

Yanagawa Nanami
Posted Image

I was curious myself, and when I asked mama she told me "'Nanami' just sounds cute"...!
Their original plan was "Nana", but since mama and my grandmother both had "mi" at the end of their names, they changed it to "Nanami"♪

Funaki Musubu
Posted Image

The character "結" is because I was born after my father and mother got married (結婚)!
