At the conclusion of the regular KII Stage on January 15th at the newly renovated SKE48 Theater in Nagoia, the graduations of the following nine members was officially announced, to occur at a yet unspecified date:
   
Kuwabara Mizuki (Team S)
Takada Shiori (Team S)
Hiramatsu Kanako (Team S)
Yagami Kumi (Team S)
 
Ogiso Shiori (Team KII)
Akaeda Ririna (Team KII)
 
Hara Minami (Team E)
Ueno Kasumi (Team E)
Kobayashi Emiri (RS)
Kuumin (Yagami Kumi) had already alerted fans to her upcoming graduation on her blog during the time the theater was closed for renovation. It is unknown whether the graduations will occur together or separately.
Kizaki Yuria (Team S), never at a loss for words, immediately commented on her blog with her usual “don't-worry-be-happy” and "this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you" message of consolation:

ＳＫＥ４８のメンバー
from SKE48
９人の卒業発表がありました。
9 members announced their graduations.

何度経験しても
no matter how many times I’ve experienced it
漠然としていて慣れません。
It makes me feel ambivalent and I can’t get used to it.
この事を聞いてから今日まで
From when I heard about it up till today
色んな事を私なりに考えてみたけど、
I tried thinking about various things by myself but
自分の支えになっていた
The members who were my pillars of support
メンバーがいなくなっちゃうなんて
that they would disappear
どんな感じなのか全くイメージ出来ません。
I couldn’t imagine how it would feel.
いつもいるはずの隣に
They were always by my side
誰もいないなんて不思議だと思う。
and I think it will be strange with no one there.
いつも通りの公演で
at our usual stages
目があったり話したり
our gazes would meet and we would talk
怒ったり誉めてくれたり
we’d get angry and they’d kindly praise me
してくれる先輩がいないなんて変な感じだと思う…
I think it would feel weird that these seniors aren’t around…
でも大丈夫です!!!
but I’m okay!!!
てゆか、大丈夫です
or rather, I’m okay
としか言いようが無いけど、
although it is the only thing that I can say
でも大丈夫。
but I’m okay.
大丈夫って言ってたら
If I say “I’m okay”
大丈夫じゃない事も大丈夫になる気がするから…
I feel that even things that aren’t okay will become okay, so…
私は強いから大丈夫です!!!
I’m strong so I’m okay!!!
ファンの皆さんも
For all of the fans too
突然過ぎて悲しいと思う
I think it’s too sudden and sad
だから悲しむだけ悲しんだら
so even though you’re sad, if you’re sad
卒業するメンバーのためにも大丈夫になってください。
Please become okay for the sakes of the graduating members, too.
