Lowkey I've been struggling to enjoy H!P like I used to since the pandemic. I've always bee opinionated so often management decisions have made me grumpy. But during covid times I found it harder and harder to enjoy new releases or get excited about new members. I was worried I was growing out of idols but kept checking in, hoping some news that would come out that would reignite my fandom...

...Watching the latest Haro!Sute had me going "woah, this is the stuff I like" for the first time in years. It's not that the content has changed at all, it's just I'm back to taking joy in h!p again. I haven't bothered learning the names/faces of any of the girls debuted after... maybe Hashisako Rin? so I've got a lot of work to do.

I've recently been trying to brute force myself into liking all the H!P songs I hated when they came out, and honestly it's a pretty fun time. Maybe Seishun Night isn't as bad as I thought.

lol I was living in Japan when that single came out, and a store I went to a lot played the Seishun Night chorus on repeat constantly, to the point where I couldn't stand to hear it. I'm far enough removed from that time that giving it a listen again I now see it is in fact a banger.

ahh i've done the same with overplaying songs, it sucks how it ruins it for a while but i guess one upside is that it makes going back to the song kind of a whole new experience lol

I saw someone say one of the admins has been working on some of the CSS code; maybe they made a mistake or just haven't finished whatever they started yet. Hopefully it'll be fixed pretty quickly.

yeah the css was messed up for me last night, i thought it was noscript or umatrix interfering but it wouldn't work when i disabled both so i just accessed the mobile site from my phone to get the info i needed lol

If there was any doubt that Beyonds would become my new fave group, the only other contenders graduated a month ago and are disbanding in March

just realised that the 30th gen of KSS is the third largest addition H!P has ever had, only beaten by the h!p kids (15 members), and the original eggs (32 members)

That's wild to think about. I'm happy they ended up staying with and utilizing the Eggs/Kenshuusei in the long run. (I think fans in general also owe a lot of thanks to Mitsubachi Maki and Ueno Mariko at this point, haha.)

Since C-ute disbanded I haven't had a fave h!p group. It might have been country girls, but we all know how that turned out. I loved the music of kobushi, but I just couldn't love them as much as my old faves. I'm very invested in MM, but their music hasn't excited me since like... 2016, and even then I liked most other h!p groups better. It looks like Beyooooonds is finally gonna fill the hole c-ute left.

I really wanna see Kobushi and Tsubaki get a joint single. I love both groups for such different reasons so it would be cool to see them combined.
