If anyone sees me vanish from certain other social media, it's because they occasionally do a confirmation check that requires a mobile number, which I do not have, and so I have to unlock it in a more roundabout way. I swear I'm not running from 5 hours of solo fes 2

Looks like everything is good now. Unless someone made any topics that got lost, the only thing that seems missing are the "go to first unread post" indicators for posts made this week. Probably not recoverable, but that's the kind of thing that sorts itself out as more people continue to post.

To those not seeing their new posts, when a page is full it looks like the posts are still saving every time you retry even if the navigation isn't updating. The new pages only seem accessible with the address bar.

Was really confused why it looked like Akane's page was updating Leon's most recent post time every day until I got curious and changed the 146 to 147 lol

Weirdly, this also doesn't seem to work for all threads. Some pages still seem entirely inaccessible, like page 986 of Maa-chan's thread.

Unfortunately that doesn't work in all threads like Masaki's. I think off-site content (like Youtube) might be preventing it from working.

The average age of MM'19 before the 15th gen was 20. Even after adding the 15th gen, the average age Morning Musume'19 is still 2 years older than the month prior to Sayumi's graduation.

I would be surprised if no one graduated from MM this year, but who knows? They're all very comfortable in the group atm.

Even if we doubled up in 2020, I'd be thrilled to finally have another year without a grad. I don't expect any audition winners next year, so it'd be great to just let everyone settle in for a year as 14nin before anyone else leaves.

It seems like I woke up to the sound of everyone's collective anticipation grinding to a screeching halt this morning. At least this gives any newbies an extra month to prepare. If they drag this out until September though, I think some hearts are going to give out from the stress lol

That would definitely make for an interesting dynamic if it was a banner under H!P with actual slots to be filled. Then any time a graduation is announced, it guarantees a simultaneous debut so that older members joining could be more common. That might seem at odds to the blob/amoeba thing they were pushing though.

Hopefully in that case, it would likely mean that we get at least 2 good days of sales instead of just one monster day and a lot of squeakers. It might drive up the daily numbers when people who miss out the first day get it elsewhere, but we can't know how well a shorted single would sell otherwise. Best case, UF just has faith and supplies appropriately.

A warning: Twitter is just as bad as facebook at data-mining, which is why they don't want anonymous accounts anymore; they want to tie you to your online activity. I tried making one a year ago and it told me I was flagged as a bot and wanted my phone number. I know many people aren't as concerned with online privacy, so just a warning to be careful what companies you give your real info.

Twitter is a double-edged sword: Yes, there is more active discussion and you get news quicker, but there's also the toxic stan culture and stupid unfunny memes that everyone copies so tread lightly (that doesn't even mention the data mining issues that sukibeam brings up).

I sometimes wonder how responsible the CG banner may be for how often I still get Good Boy, Bad Girl stuck in my head. The costumes just seem almost iconic at this point.

For better or for worse, it's not possible to update the banners anymore, since there is an issue with the database... So until it gets fixed those banners are staying lol.

The thought is uncomfortable, but if Demi Lovato's hospitalization feels this bad after only about a decade of following her professionally, I can't imagine how devastating it would feel with those I've followed more closely from H!P. Gomaki and Aibon's situations were rough enough.

"Wait, Kaede wasn't in '16..." My reaction every time I look over at my playlist to see Matsuoka Mayu's face scrunching up doing the high note during her OTT performance with Momusu. I'm half convinced that performance is why they realized Kaede's aesthetic was perfect for MM.

I find myself curious about the general political leanings and issues important to H!O users. I have my assumptions, but private messages from all countries are welcome. I tend to follow politics in most regions of the world.

It's interesting, but I don't really feel like talking about politics, religion, and such things here. I of course have strong opinions on many things, but I feel like this isn't the place for that.

I agree in the general sense of trying to keep politics away from the threads. I'm more looking for a general statement in PM just to see what issues may correlate with those who share an interest in idols. I also wouldn't want to see those topics bleed into general discussions.

I think I'm a gonna crawl into bed and just not process things right now. Just when I was starting to hope that it was too far into March that my 3x graduation prediction for this year wouldn't be possible...

My prediction was that either two or all of the 10th gen would graduate by the end of the fall tour. The furthest reaching prediction was that it would be all 3 in a triple grad, but that at least two of them would grad in the same concert.
