Hatsukoi Sunrise was playing on the screens at Tanukikoji in Sapporo today. The vocal production+direction of h!p records really is good these days. Even though we know these girls aren't standout singers the whole 'sound' has so much more impact than most other idol stuff you here around

I feel like I may be subconciously trying to convert my friends to the church of Kylie Minogue hahaha. People outside of uk/australia just don't seem to realise how much of a legend she is xD

I think she is well known as one of the greatest female entertainers in the international pop business.
But she is/was nowhere else as big as in uk/australia, so I agree with your statement.

I tend to sort of rediscover her every couple of years. :)This time I picked up a couple of old albums from book off. It's good that she has quite an extensive back catalogue haha

May be jumping the gun a bit but I don't like that the 13th gen will be all kss. Since the kss now have to pay for their lessons it all feels like it's getting a bit elite :/

If it is around $100 then that's not a bad price but I still feel that it's really not great for girls from outside Kanto area :/

I think that's why they started up the Hokkaido KSS. Hopefully they'll eventually do something similar with Kyushu, maybe Shikoku/Hiroshima area too.

The TGS performance at that JAM EXPO thing is amazing, their live vocals have improved a lot.

One of the few advantages that Ayano left. Everyone felt the pressure was on and they all improved a lot, especially Mei I think. She's actually a decent singer now.

Hello, this is the company that manages (managed) w-inds., DA PUMP and SUPER MONKEY'S. Momoka is their new Namie (but Fairies simply aren't that popular enough). I think only MAX is kind of fair.

I know she has always dominated but I think their earlier songs had a lot of unison and duet lines so you didn't notice it as much. I hadn't been properly following them in a while and the crossroad no mics thing gave me a bit of a shock.
MAX are my absolute 90s faves and when they debuted I thought fairies could be my 2010s equivalent. Didn't mean it quite so literally though haha
