Rinana, singer-songwriter from Kobe, Japan

She occasionally has gigs at various venues around Kobe. Mostly, though, she appears out on the street, singing and playing her guitar, with a portable amp. I wonder how long she is going to be able to keep it up. Sometimes, it looks pretty cold in the pictures she posts of her singing outside. Her twitter handle is @rina_yumejyo. She has 5,100+ followers on twitter, and we are mutuals. Her latest E.P./mini-album is called ‘Run.’ Also, Rinana will be headlining the Kobe Harbor Festival on 8/26/17.
Some time ago, there was a controversy. Apparently, somebody accused her of getting plastic surgery to look more like Ayumi Hamasaki. Rinana tried to refute the rumor on twitter. Honestly, I can’t see the resemblance. I doubt that she (Rinana) had plastic surgery.
About a month ago, Rinana had a twitcasting. I had the opportunity to ask her a few questions. I asked her what her favorite color was and she replied ‘Pink!’ That’s funny to me, because Asuka Hinoi’s favorite color was pink, too. In Hinoi Team, Asuka was the only one allowed to wear pink. F.Y.I: Asuka was the leader of Hinoi Team. I asked Rinana what her favorite animal was and she responded ‘Monkey!’ I also asked Rinana when was the last time the last time she saw Keika (another ex-Hinoi Team member). She said that it was two years ago. Note that Keika Matsuoka is the only Hinoi Team member who has not continued to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
My previous blog post was about Hikaru Koyama, the other member of Hinoi Team. In that post, I mentioned that she is a presenter for a TV show called Houdou Kyoku. It seems like she has graduated from that. I am not able to read Japanese, but that’s what it looked like from her twitter feed.
Anyway, let’s keep supporting the entertainment careers of Rina Takenaka (Rinana), Asuka Hinoi, and Hikaru Koyama!
Wow, thank you for the info about Hinoi Team! I wonder why Keika didn't continuing in pursuing an entertainment career. It would've been cool if she did but I guess she lost interest.
Hopefully someday, the former members from Hinoi Team will return one more time for us to say "arigato, sayonara" to them.
What do you think?
