Morning Musume Koharu Kusumi Candy Mafia Anime Expo Bam Bam Thailand
Hi! It’s been a long time since my last post. Please excuse me, but I’ve been super busy with work. Also, I’ve been trying to think of something to write about, ha ha!As I mentioned before, I got interested in Morning Musume by seeing the PV for “Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari.” This is an incredible video, and very useful for learning about the members. I watched it about 50 times, so that enabled me to learn who was who, at least among the members who were in the group at the time of that single.
I saw Morning Musume perform at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in 2009. By that time, they had admitted Koharu Kusumi, Jun Jun, Lin Lin, and Aika. A lot of the members from the JKM video had graduated, as well. The performance was only ~ 2 weeks after I discovered MM, so I was still a little fuzzy about who was who. Actually, very fuzzy.
Anyway, subsequently, I started liking Koharu Kusumi.
This was about the time she graduated from MM. I was never too big on Jun-Lin. Sure, they smiled a lot, but they didn’t seem to have the personality that the girls did in the JKM video. Excuse me if I offend some Aika fans, but I have never liked her. I saw her in the group, and I thought, “Who is that? Is that one girl, or is it two girls?” I don’t think she looks good. 
Her lips are too thin. Her personality doesn’t make her stand out, at least not to me. I heard a recording of her singing, with the vocals isolated, and it sounded awful. Like a cat that had been hit by a car. It seems like she kept getting injured, and couldn’t perform the dances. I don’t want to put too much significance on it, but it seems like when they admitted Aika, MM started a downward spiral.They have admitted many new girls since then. Jun-Lin, Takashashi, Tanaka, and Kamei graduated. It is a completely new group since JKM, with the exception of Sayu. I regret that I just can’t get into any of the new girls. They admit like 4 or 5 at a time, and I can’t tell them apart. They don’t seem to have the personality of the girls who were in MM at the time of JKM, or even the ones who had already graduated by the time JKM was released. I actually want to get to know the new girls. If I remember correctly, there was a chubby girl, though she may have lost weight. If anyone can tell me who is the cutest, and/or who is the best dancer in the group now, I would appreciate it. I know the new girls have fans, and that people are interested in them. People are posting to their threads. Maybe I am missing something.
I have been listening to a lot of Thai music lately, and watching Thai music videos. I like a group called Candy Mafia. They have been accused of being an imitation of 2NE1 (K-pop group), but I think they have a charm of their own. They (Candy Mafia) are cute, and they have some killer dance moves.
Their songs are good, too . . . quite catchy. How could you not like a group who has a member named Bam Bam? 
OK, well, that’s all I have for now. I welcome comments, but please don’t attack me because I don’t like that former member of MM. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, and I can’t help what my opinions are.
Uhh, I think the chubby member you mentioned was Suzuki Kanon. She's still chubby, chubbier actually, and super cute
Personally, I Think the cutest member is Sayumi >.< but if not then Kudo Haruka and Oda Sakura are super cute~
The best dancer is Sayashi Riho (the front girl) and Ishida Ayumi.
I understand how you feel, I lost touch with MM after members started to leave, and by the time Risa left I only watched it because my kami-oshi Tanaka Reina was in the group.. Eventually you do grow to love the girls just like we did with P.E girls ^^
I hope you regain your love for them again, this is truly a great era to love Morning Musume
