aMI TOKITO’s Advice Regarding Natural Disasters Earlier this month, aMI TOKITO made a blog post in honor of the fifth anniversary of the Japan earthquake and tsunami. I used bing translator, and did minor editing to try to make it more understandable. Following is aMI’s post.

“3 / 11

From the East Japan earthquake
Five years have passed.
Dead / missing persons

18,455 people dead/ 2,561 people still missing.

Those affected by the disaster, those who have lost loved ones, I think pain is immeasurable.
We are learning from past disasters, for natural disasters happen anytime.
Even a little safe to survive.
Don't look to acquire wisdom!
When I take a "disaster" qualification, and knowledge learned
"When Tokito crisis ear radio-for that time-" in with the knowledge acquired.
Easy to write disaster!

First aid kits

Portable toilets

Backpack

Radio

Batteries

Rope

Helmet

Plastic bags

Cash, seal and bank account

Water

Great food

If the entire week!

Portable gas stoves, gas cassettes

I also have available! Because I have a dog, there are dog toys!

Week-also carrying emergency food and water.
Honestly, it is not possible if one person, the family more.

So, if is damaged as much as possible at home sent to shelters, ingredients are originally stocked in the house.
Please convert as an emergency!

And the danger of buildings collapsing, if evacuation orders are coming, go to the nearest shelter!
You may want to tell more!

I have written considerably longer; listen to the radio!
All awareness of disaster prevention, communicative!
It's still recovery time in the Northeast. Also, we don’t know how long they will need support in various forms! Chappie-Kun, along with emergency supplies, told me to check it.

Thank you.”
NOTES.
1) I am surprised that she didn’t mention that people need a flashlight. Maybe that got lost in translation.
2) Shortly after the earthquake/tsunami, aMI went through a training program related to public safety in times of natural disasters.
3) Chappie-Kun is aMI’s little dog. By where she mentions Chappie-Kun, there is a photo of him, next to some emergency supplies.
