aMI TOKITO to Perform at Japan Festival 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

On Saturday, November 14, aMI TOKITO will be appearing and performing at the Japan Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

aMI TOKITO appeared and performed at the same event last year in Vietnam. I saw some videos of aMI performing on YouTube, and it looked like a fun event and that she really enjoyed herself. Last year, there were 105,000 visitors at the festival over its two-day run. This year, they expect 120,000 visitors. Earlier today, aMI tweeted some photos of her in the airport. She also tweeted that, despite her plane being delayed, she had arrived in Vietnam.

This festival is intended to promote private cultural exchange between Japan and Vietnam. It will take place at 9/23 Park. Sponsors of the event include Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Viet Nam Embassy of Japan, Consulate-General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh, the Japan Tourism Agency, Japan Chamber of Commerce and industry, Japan Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

She responded by tweeting ‘Thanks.’ It is nice to get the attention of your favorite idol, even if it is only for a second.
