As hinted in our previous torrent, this is the video that was a must-sub for us; the Kizuna Restaurant Morning Musume Special!
Morning Musume graduates Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori, Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari and Tsuji Nozomi sit down with the hosts of the show and some of MM's celebrity fans for a look back on how it all began. The main theme of the special is to reveal behind-the-scenes stories that can only now be told about the early years of Morning Musume.
Throughout the show, a multi-part look back at the history of the group is shown. The real heart of the show is what the in-studio members discuss after each segment. From arguments and tension within the group, to Nacchi & Iida reduced to sharing bread crusts even as their nationwide popularity skyrocketed, there's some pretty interesting information revealed for the first time here. There's even a short dramatization which illustrates Nakazawa's ruthless actions towards the other members. At least they can look back and laugh about it now...
At the end of the show, current Musume members Takahashi Ai and Niigaki Risa come into the studio to bring everything full circle, honoring their senpais who paved the way for them. If you are, or were ever a fan of Morning Musume, this show is a can't-miss.
