  More Kago Ai gossip
  Hello!Project Written by Kuno & HPS , updated: 17:16, 1-Apr 2007

This is *NOT* an April Fool's Day post, btw.

According to Inoue:

- Kago isn't sorry at all for what she's done.
- Because of this, the people around her, including H!P members, can't (or perhaps don't want to) associate with her.
- Kago had an income of 4,000,000 yen per month (roughly $33,900) when she was only 15 years old.
- It's only natural that she has become quite big-headed because of this high income and her famousness.
- Kago never gave up smoking. She has been smoking consistently, even after the first Friday Magazine smoking scandal emerged. (On the show, Inoue said that he checked up on this, and revealed what cigarette brand she's smoking - it's Virginia Slim ROSE Menthol. This is the same brand as the one she was smoking at the time of the first smoking scandal.
- There's a rumor that says Ishimoto Yasuyuki (Kago's man) was dating Yada Akiko (Drama Wiki link) when Yada was a teenager. Yada Akiko is the wife of Oshio Manabu who happens to be Nacchi's ex-boyfriend.

A little background:

Inoue Kozo is famous as a specialist in H!P gossip information in Japan. Every time scandals of Hello Project come to light, it's most likely that he would be the first man who gives an explanation and some secrets behind the scenes about the news on TV, just like this time.

And you may wonder why it's Kansai local shows that would tell us these behind-the-scenes tidbits of the entertainment world. This is because if they talk about those secrets on national television networks, it's highly likely that the people concerned are watching the show (because almost all big-name TV celebrities live in Tokyo area). Many of the nationwide TV stations are afraid of being sued by celebrities, and they don't want to incur their disfavor. In that respect, local stations don't need to worry about it because top celebrities rarely appear on local TV shows anyway. Plus, the entertainment journalists would hang out together with the celebrities. And, worrying about the relationship between them, they would hesitate to talk about those secrets on nationwide TV shows. So, they tend to want to talk about those things on local shows.

Small update: It seems that Akko ni Omakase, which is run by nationwide TV station TBS on another channel around the same time the Emi show airs, also featured the Kago story.

You can see info on it here, including some screencaps .
