Morning Musume member Kamei Eri will make her voice acting debut through the new anime franchise Jewelpet (ジュエルペット), where she will play the main character. Jewelpet will take over the time slot of Tanaka Reina's anime Onegai My Melody Kirara.
The series is an original character series from Sanrio in collaboration with SEGA TOYS."Jewelpet" started as a character building site, where each stuffed Jewelpet is linked to the online Web-Gurumi site via a secret password. Each character is named after a jewel, such as the rabbit Koraku ("Ruby"), the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Sapphire ("Sapphy"), and the Persian cat Garnet ("Net").
Anime Synopsis: Ruby came from the magic world "Jewel Land" in search of her friends scattered all over the human world in jewel form. Rinko Kougyoku and her two friends meet Jewel Pets and come to possess some magical power.

- "Shooting star" landing in Rinko's cup
- Rinko held as a hostage, saved by an ikemen.
- Explanation of Jewel Pet and the Jewel rock that Rinko had received.
- Appearance of Ruby, Rinko's Jewel Pet.
- Rinko getting too nervous before her speech on stage and Ruby flew in.
- With Ruby below the stage with Rinko's friend, she found the courage to speak out on the stage
