^ I know she's pretty skinny, but unless she's on a totally awkward angle, I'm pretty sure her whole torso is Photoshopped.

UFA has some really bad graphics people. Though the people who do Sayu's photobooks are usually pretty good. Maybe there's a hierarchy, and the talented ones work on PBs while the boss's niece does this stuff.

Clothing and posing both do wonderful jobs of concealment. If you twist your torso in a picture you can make yourself look skinnier, if there is movement you can make yourself skinnier and if you have the right type of clothing it can also change your appearance as well. This is a trick that people/photographers/models have been using waaaaaaaay before photoshop!
I think Sayu looks adorable in the pic......some people may have forgotten to mention that!

I actually do Photoshop retouching for a living and I had to do a lot of figure drawing in college so I notice things. Not only does Sayu's body not look retouched but if you haven't already noticed Sayu, unlike all the other HP members, is seemingly devoid of any muscle definition in her thighs. And when she's thin, her thighs can look concave, scrawny and, unnatural - especially when she crosses them and wraps them around each other like a pretzel. And when she's photographed on an angle while she crosses her legs a bit, her already tiny hips disappear.
HP has little reason to Photoshop these girls. They're already thin and as all you have noticed either in person or by watching TV appearances, making of videos, etc., they already look great. A lot of the bad retouching people complain about is, I guess, done by fans who retouch their own scans. And all the over exposed photography is actually bad fan scans. Don't think HP can't hire photographers in Japan of all places who can't take properly exposed photos.
