Center positions... Yukirin and Kojiharu. Please, don't... because I find both of them to be really boring on stage and it is far from a good choice for the future. 

I honestly don't think it's a choice for the future haha. If anything it's more of a "Thanks for all the hard work, now, slowly make your way out of here". Not really sure why it had to be Kojiharu (I get Yukirin, she hasn't had a center yet, but Kojiharu had Heart Ereki so...), but this wasn't a choice for the future. Sakura in Kibouteki was a choice for the future for sure.

I try to make the translations as literal as possible. I'm now a first-years student at university studying Japanese. So obviously, after only 3-4 months of having actual Japanese lessons, my Japanese isn't perfect, but I try to for people who absolutely can't understand anything. Above that I'm not a native English speaker so that makes it worse

And I would indeed not put too much weight on what they're saying in magazines - like everybody said, they will be milking this story. Replace Riho's name with Mizuki's and center with leader and bam, fits perfectly. Nacchi, Maki, Ai, Reina, Riho, ... they have all had articles like these, AKB : Acchan, Takamina, Yuko, Mayu, ... same thing. They will all act like a groups' success depends on one person, while it's so much more than that.
