Soooo, I wasn't sure who to ask about this, but I was wondering if on H!O, we could set up some form of secret santa/elf/whatever you want to call it? :3
I don't know if we have anything like this already either, though...
But, I was thinking we could do it with actual H!P products or graphics?
It could work as just a little event where you can sign up to give away something as a secret santa, or receive something ( As for graphics, it'd be simple. As for giving away items, there'd be a bit of moderating needed to make sure all objects got to their proper place. This could also be trouble due to worldwide members, so we'd have to be careful to properly much up locations. ). Another way it could work, is to pay a small fee to enter to receive something, and it could be a fundraiser for the site ( This wouldn't work if we were doing graphics, which is half the trouble. ).
What does everyone here think? ( Sorry for being so scatter-brained... )

Mina's Graphics! :3
14 November 2009 - 12:51 AM
My graphics aren't good. ): They're all made in photofiltre, and I only started making them last week.
I haven't actually made any sigs, avs or stuff yet, just random little things for my friends.
If anyone wants my examples downsized into sigs, I'm willing to do it.
EXAMPLES
^
First attempt, made for a friend.
Second attempt.
My favorite... It's true, lawl.
Final sample thing.

So, I got this idea while reading through the first few pages of Junjun and Linlin's forum topics... And I was wondering...
What would happen if an American joined Morning Musume, right this instant. It was announced on the official Hello!Project website, along with the girls name and age ( let's say she's around twelve, as unrealistic as it is, to nineteen. Choose an age. ). She was born in New York state, and we haven't heard her sing, or even seen her do much of anything yet. We don't even know how Tsunku met her. Only moments later it's posted on the tracker, along with her blog, which, as she created it before she joined Morning Musume, contains her email.
Now, how do you think you'd respond, and also, how do you think other members of this forum, and fans in Japan, would respond to this? Would there be major shock? Fits about it? Arguments? What do you think would happen?
Personally, I think I'd almost faint of shock. It'd be completely unexpected for me, but I can't say I'd be mad. Maybe a little upset if she's the " typical American teenager " stereotype, but I don't think I'd be too worried about it.... I'd probably worry for her, though. She'll be able to understand both the harsh Japanese comments ( at some point. ), and the English-speaking fans...

Suicide Club
09 October 2009 - 09:08 PM
I recently watched Suicide Club, which is a very mature and sad movie, which had me laughing, in tears, and left me confused at some parts.
In starts off dramatically, with a group of school girls, all appearing very cheery and talkative, commit suicide, by lining up on the side of a train track, holding hands, and all falling onto the tracks of the moving train. It's a very gory movie, but the gore actually has a point, unlike some horror movies.
Later on detectives investigate the case, and I won't spoil the rest.
It may be gory, but it's a very sad movie that gets you thinking.
