Thanks to everyone who participated in my 3rd annual H!P fanvote. We had just over 800 confirmed entries so we managed to grow just a bit more compared to last year. Any comments and suggestions you may have can be posted here or sent to me at [email protected]

Berryz Koubou member scrap book proposal (updated Feb 5)

20 December 2010 - 10:55 AM

Posted Image

I remember this happening for Morning Musume at anime expo and also for the Berryz when they went to Thailand but I want to see if there is significant interest for our own project here at H!O.

What is the project about?

Basically it's a series of scrapbooks, 1 for each Berryz member, holding contributions from their international fans. These can be anything from messages to drawing to photos to whatever. It's our chance to show these girls just how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.

I will not be doing appointed leaders for each scrapbook. Instead, everyone will work and help on each book to keep them relatively the same and prevent any Berryz member from feeling under appreciated.

Even if a member isn't your favourite, please try to think of some message and all short comments will be splashed together on one page or a two page spread if the numbers warrant it

I am in need of translator volunteers who will agree to take PMs and emails from other members and reply back with the translated text

A few select people will be appointed to collect entries from everyone else and bring them to Sakura-con (preferably on Thursday since that's when I'll be arriving). Addresses will be posted soon.

We are in need of one more collector who fills all of these qualifications

Also considering designing some t-shirts or buttons we could all wear to show that we call came from Hello!Online

What counts as an entry?

One page limit per person, per Berryz member. That means you can send in a maximum of SEVEN 8.5"x11" sheets of paper. If you would like to contribute more, please label your entries in order of priority and they will be included afterwards if there is room. In theory you could make some type of fold out page but we're trying to keep this as easy to assemble as possible. Also keep in mind that this is still a book and will flatten anything sticking up

Messages can be typed or written out in English or Japanese but we will not be providing translation services at this time

Digital messages will be printed out as long as you provide detailed instructions on how it should appear like font, colour, alignment, and spacing.

I recommend that everything be hand written just to go that extra mile

What else can you do to help?

Spread the word. Put a link to this page in your signature and help get more people involved.

Art supplies of every kind are welcome in any shape or form (bring them along when we meet up)

Examples are coloured paper, ribbons, stickers, tape, glue, felt pens, coloured pencils, etc

If you think you have good design sense or drawing skills then you can propose cover page ideas to me and I will post them up for the greater majority of us to decide on

Shipping Information

Please include at least 1 form of contact information for me to reach you. Email, H!O screen name, MSN, Skype, etc.

Please clearly label each entry with the name of the Berryz member that it is for. If I am unsure, you will be getting an email or PM from me

The American address will be made available sometime this week

Needmorebuono's Address: For Americans and Everyone during April (I'm going to Japan in April so please use this address during that time)

PO Box 931

My Address: For Canadians and anyone else outside of USA (Americans can send to me if you really want to but it probably costs more)

Fansub Karaoke help?

21 June 2010 - 03:04 AM

So I'm trying to do this song cause I'm just that bored today. I dunno what really came over me but I downloaded the 65MB MP4 video clip of the performance and loaded up my Aegisub not really knowing what I was getting myself into.

Timing took a long time for me but I guess that was the easy part cause I'm having a lot of trouble trying to develop some interesting effects and the ones that I download from the internet seem to lag like hell on playback through media player classic.

It all started as some random thing to do since I do have some video editing experience but it might be something I want to get into more if it doesn't drive me insane first...

My gaming guild has been in on this game since early beta and since the release date is coming up, I thought what better place to recruit than within fellow H!P fans? We're only about 20-30 strong at best but the core members have been gaming together for years now (8 or 9 I think) and we're looking to bring in some more dedicated players who enjoy organized PVP as well as PVE instancing. If you think you fit the bill, send me a PM.

Guild name is The Fallen and we plan on playing on the Elyos side.

Game info can be found at http://us.ncsoft.com/en/aion/ and http://www.aionarmory.com/

It's by the same people who did Lineage so you can expect some nice pvp content (winged combat)
