Karin had a sore throat and fever last Friday and an antigen test confirmed positive for Covid-19. As per protocol she has to self-isolate, so planned events for her single release had to be postponed.

On another note, so many amazing Karin covers this month. 
She performed Tomoko's Kiiroi Sen no Uchigawa de Narande Omachi Kudasai in her single release event, and it was glorious.

She's being featured on Tokyo MX's "Artist#18 File" for four weeks, and in the second week, she covers YOASOBI's Yoru ni Kakeru as part of her single promotion.
The video will be viewable in the channel for a limited time only. TV version has different angle.
Contrast to Kiiroi, you can tell that the song is outside her comfort range, but I think she's done a great job there.
And last, they finally show us KarinxRuru duet of Ganbarenai yo from MSMW! The song was originally performed by J=J without Karin even though she hasn't graduated yet so this is some kind of redemption for her.

It's as good as one would expect from those two. The last chorus after the key change was amazing. The lines were sung solo so Karin's phrasing can be heard easily while Ruru adds her embellishment.
I hope they show us Future Smile too
