Been accepted to do my post-graduate at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, possibly with scholarship. That means I'll be living in Kyoto for two years I lived there for a year before anyway, so I know how awesome it is.

I took the JLPT N2 yesterday too. Luckily I already knew about the horrors of the reading section, and the fact that you have to skim read everything because there's not enough time to actually read the texts. Still don't think I did very well though, but you never know. The listening certainly was easier, though towards the end you can't help zoning out! There's only so long you can listen to long conversations in Japanese until your brain stops being able to hear the words, even if they were in English! A shame the last two listening questions are mightly long, too.
It doesn't help that I very nearly missed the exam thanks to the utter failure of Britain's transportation system, and their inability to transport people from A to B within X amount of time. I had to literally RUN across London, as well as 3 different subway trains due to half the network being down. I got from one side of London to the other in under 30 minutes - gotta be a record!
Least we can take it again next year.

Oh of course, that's a much less awkward way of saying it!

Only a week until I take the 二級の日本語能力試験. Panic!
Can 夜を徹した be used in the same way as the English 'to pull an all-nighter'?
