It's been a while but I check this place out every once in a while to see if anyone's posted.

I'm very busy with life but still very much a ZONE fan. One unfortunate thing I've noticed is that it's becoming more difficult to find ZONE videos on streaming sites such as YouTube. A lot of them are blocked here in Japan so it might be less of a problem for some people.

Anyway, I wonder if there are any conclaves of ZONE fans still holding out? From what I've seen, it's mostly people making comments on YouTube, etc. I guess I miss the good ol' days when things were a bit more lively. The decrease in activity is to be expected, though. It's hard to believe that some of us pop in from time to time even 15ish years later--and some of us have been fans for even longer than that.

Wherever you guys are at, here's to a great 2020.

Hey! Yeah, I haven't heard much except for that Maiko runs a yoga class. Maiyoga? You might know about it but here's her blog: https://ameblo.jp/saka7mai/and her twitter: twitter.com/Nagi_yoga. Shes also happily married from what I can see.
Anyway, I haven't heard from the others except for rumors.

Long time no see. I haven't been to this site in ages. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on nowadays. Anyway, I still love ZONE. I've been residing in central Japan for the last couple of years. How's everyone else doing? Good to see TotallyUncool active still.

Teck, we should try to get together one of these days since you go to Japan sometimes. Sucks we couldn't meet up in Singapore a couple years ago!

That's a lovely song, 4n01, thank you for sharing. I'll have to check out this album. Also, that album from Perfume is a good listen, I have to say. Triangle and Game are also good albums too. And if you're interested both albums are fully uploaded to youtube so you can give them a listen.

As for SCANDAL, that was sort of my first impression of the group when I first heard about them and when I first saw some of their promos. I never really listened to much of their music at the time, but I was aware that they were and up-and-coming band. That was several years ago. Then I stumbled onto their recent Osaka-jo live and now and I'm into them. And as Soul of ZONE mentioned, they've matured into a respectable and talented musicians whom can put on a great performance. They all are likable enough and have their own unique personalities. Also, they formed shortly after ZONE disbanded and so I've come across some people who see SCANDAL as a copy band of ZONE or too similar to ZONE. I don't think this is true. But some also see them as the group that in which the torch for being THE girl band in Japan was passed to. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Scandal is the biggest girl band in Japan now as ZONE was back in their day (not including full-fledged idol groups like AKB or Morning Musume). So at least the two groups are similar in that regard.

SoulofZONE, thank you for telling me about Miyu's Miraculous Night. I'll try to look for it here and see if it's still up.
