With 2007 nearly over, it has been a pretty crappy year for films for me.
Here are some 2008 releases that i am looking forward to;
Where the Wild Things Are: Ok not really looking forward to it, more just curious to see how it turns out, as this was one of my favourite books as a kid.
Semi-Pro: Will Ferrell as a 70's Basketballer player/owner, probably another Blades of Glory type flick but i'm a fan haha
RocknRolla: Guy Ritchie flick, been waiting for something after Snatch. This ones about the Russian mob
Ironman: Robert Downey is a great actor and the trailer looks sick, hopefully those aren't the best bits of the whole movie
The Incredible Hulk: the first one was a shambles, hopefully Ed Norton can do the comic justice this time round
The Forbidden Kingdom: Jet and Jackie in a Kung-fu epic?.... bring it! although the white kid in the lead role i could do without
The Dark Knight: i liked "Batman Begins" and again the trailer looks sick Heath Ledger looks like he fits the Joker role and let's face it the Batman movies can't do worst then the "Glooney" years right?
Cloverfield: Monster flick? what more could u ask for? just hope it lives up to the hype
Be Kind Rewind: Jack Black & Mos DEf re-enacting classic 80's films haha
Machine Girl: a Girl with a Machine gun for an arm?, ninjas?. drill bra?, flying gullotines?....WOOHOO!!!
There's probably more, but that's all i can think of at the moment.
Thoughts? any others you're looking forward to?
