Today Apple released their new MacBook Air. It's probably the coolest damned thing I've seen in a while. I am excited to be 'planning' to purchase one.
Did anyone else here on H!O happen to pay attention to Steve Jobs' keynote at MacWorld today?
Check out [url:"http://www.apple.com/ title=Apple Introduces MacBook"]their Ad[/url] for a reference to its awesomeness!
How do you feel about it? Care to go all tech fanboy with me?

Iijima Mari

Mari was a major Idol back in the 70's and 80's when Macross aired in Japan. She recently re-recorded the vocals for the Japanese track of Macross for the Anniversary DVD released a couple of years ago.
* She's put out almost twenty (20) albums and has had a fantastic career.
* She now lives in L.A. and is trying to break into the US market.
I'm curious if she has any other fans here on H!O or not. I was able to see her in concert this past weekend at Tekkoshocon 5 and was seriously impressed.

I had a couple of photos taken with Mari I'll upload when I get home later.

Shura no Toki

I don't know if anyone else has seen this show or not. I've owned it for a couple years now, and it's seriously one of my favorites. And I OWN lots of anime.
"Shura no Toki" follows the story of a family of martial artists "Muto" who fight only using their hardened bodies and not using any weapons. It's an awesome series that actually covers the progression of this 'family lineage" throughout the show. Very well drawn, voiced (in Japanese of course) and written.
I really recommend it to all of you. Have any of you already seen it? Let's chat about it. I'm in the mood for open discussion.

Here's my new layout. Just changed it yesterday. Much better than the old layout. Now everything is in one place and easy for me to 'slight' swivel to.
