Another metal fan here, though I rarely post.
Main metal bands that I listen to
3 Inches of Blood
Iron Maiden
I wouldn't say 3 Inches of Blood are taking the mickey. If you want to see a good example of that, check out Metal By Numbers by Brian Posehn (Youtube link). Man I love that song, gotta listen to it once a day. As for Iron Maiden, I'm always impressed by the fact that they sound better than ever in their live concerts now, instead of going downhill like most older bands.
Short list of other metal bands I listen to
Black Sabbath
Blind Guardian
Demons & Wizards
Dio
Dream Evil
Judas Priest
Megadeth
Rammstein
Aside from that, I listen to plenty of other rock bands that I'd classify as borderline metal, and a few video game tribute bands that do metal/rock covers of songs. Powerglove is probably the best example of that. I'd post the full list of bands I listen to, but as far as I know this forum doesn't have a tag that condenses/hides text. And now back to lurking...

Just a heads up: Right now the Story Mode Progression option in Sims 3 is broken. It is always enabled regardless of the setting unless you use a mod. User-made families are frequently pushed out of the neighborhood or have their inventories wiped while they aren't the active family. Oh, and they'll adopt an abnormally large number of kids even if they hate children. I would advise having a separate save/town for each family you use, at least until the problem is fixed.

Well, if it's any consolation you can usually watch the latest SP episodes at the official site. (southparkstudios.com)
In other news, hooray for Seagate. Thanks to their buggy firmware my 500GB drive is bricked and I get to wait for them to fix it. Well, if I ever get through their phone support that is. I just had to have my only copies of all the H!P PVs on there, too.

lol anyways I think rockband looks kinda lame and is a imitation of GH but dont judge a book by its covers
You also might want to read the name of the author. Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero 80's, Rock Band, and Rock Band 2 were all created by the same developer: Harmonix. I think the fact that most of the RB1 songs can be exported and used in RB for $5 is great, not to mention the fact that all the RB1 DLC works with RB2 with no extra fees. Of course, in the end it only matters which series has the most songs that you like. I'd like some Maiden master tracks and perhaps some 3 Inches of Blood, but I'm satisfied rocking out to Judas Priest and Boston at the moment.
In other news...no discussion about Fable 2? It's a great game so far, a very nice upgrade from the original. However, don't read or listen to a single interview or preview. Peter Molyneux has a habit of setting people up for disappointment.
