Me again.

I found an old file that I messed around with a long time ago. It's one of Berryz Koubou's first music videos. I was bored one day and I took one of Morning Underground's remixes then edited the track by removing a few measures of the song to time with the video correctly. I didn't know too much about video/audio editing back then (I still don't), so it didn't come out in the best quality. Well, to be fair, both the video and the remixed track were not in the best quality in the first place. Here you go:

Berryz Koubou - Piriri to Yukou (Plus MUG Remix)

Since I thought the audio quality of the remix wasn't the best, I left the original track in the video. You will find the remix in the second audio track. If you switch back and forth, you will notice a drastic difference in quality, lol. Instead of just leaving the file there for myself, I thought I'd share just for fun.

Hey there guys.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I thought I'd break the silence with a few links.

Here's a small taste of my Japanese playlist. The tracks are a mix of old and slightly more recent songs by various, well-known artists like AKG, Spitz, Yui, E-Girls, etc. There are some lesser-known artists and one or two tracks performed by Korean artists, singing Japanese versions of their original songs. Go ahead and give it a try if you like. Also, I should mention that the folder is a .rar file, split into three volumes. The extracted files are in .mp3 format and the bitrates vary, with most of them being 320 kbps. Anyway, here are the links:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

For those not too familiar with split .rar files; you will need all three volumes in order for the files to extract properly.

Have fun!

When it comes to portable music, I use these Sony earbuds. They're certainly not the high end stuff, but they're cheap so I never have to worry about breaking them. If they do, I always have a backup set to replace them. The build isn't too flimsy, so they do tend to last for a while. Sound is also okay, considering the price.

As for my choice for listening at home, I use Sony's MDR7506. I use them for pretty much everything - laptop, movies, music, games.

I'm honestly not an audiophile, so I can't really describe the sound's pros and cons. I can only recommend the MDR7506's to those who don't want to dish out more that $100 dollars for headphones, but want something better than earbuds. From what I do know, I don't go for that Skullcandy crap. I tried their stuff before when I lost my first set of MDR7506, and wow, Skullcandy's sound quality (if you want to call it that) is a joke. They're all about aesthetics rather than sound. I've never owned any Sennheiser's, mainly because I'm too afraid to pay so much for something that I'm not too sure I'll like. Their stuff is basically too expensive for my taste. Maybe one day, I'll give a them a try. I just have to become rich enough, lol.

^Oh, you must be talking about DVD/Blu-ray movies. What I was talking about was the Netflix video streaming service. In order to use it, It requires you to insert a special blu-ray disc (provided by Netflix) to access the movie selections. If you're using it, you can't access the XMB. If you try pressing the Home button on the controller, instead of the XMB, you get a message asking "Do you want to quit playback?" I'm pretty sure that it doesn't even notify you if your friends are logging on or off while you're watching on it.

From what I've read, the upcoming firmware with the new Netflix application will eliminate the requirement of the special blu-ray disc. There will be a new Netflix icon in the video tab, so Netflix members can watch online and still be able to use the XMB. Here's a link that'll explain a bit more into detail (skip the ad if there is one). I can't wait for this update. It'll make things so much easier for me.

...haven't seen much great games for the move either except this one called Kung Fu rider where it's like a Tony hawk game except you ride on trolleys chairs and anything with wheels...

...Is I possible to buy a bigger/replacement HD for the ps3?

Haha, I've seen some trailers for that game. it looks like something I'd try out. The whole concept of the game is a good example of "WTF", but I've played a lot of "WTF" games in my lifetime. Most times, I enjoy them...like Katamari Damacy.

And yes, it's been answered before, but it's possible to upgrade your PS3's HDD. I bought a 500 GB HDD and replaced my stock one a while back. I haven't come close to reaching it's max capacity yet...even with almost all my games installed, 41 PSN games, loads of music videos, two movies and songs all stored into a single hard drive (230 GB left of free space). So it's really convenient to have it replaced with bigger storage. I ordered my replacement HDD from Amazon for about $90 last year, but it should be cheaper now. I'd say around $50 to $60.

On a different note, I can't wait for the next firmware upgrade which should allow Netlfix movie streaming through the XMB without having to log off of your PSN account. I always worried if my buddies were online or not while watching a movie to kill time as I wait for them. It was a hassle to watch and log off after every episode/movie just to check if anyone was online. But yeah, that should change within the next couple months.
