Although I doubt it'd be highly used, I was wondering if Hello!Online had an 'official' irc channel somewhere. If we don't, I might make one on the DeltaAnime irc network (unless someone has a better network idea), since I run a few channels there anyway.
It'd be good for just random chats and set a meeting between members (I heard there was a meeting recently for those wanting to join H!O 2009 trip to Japan). I'll probably just idle in it 24/7.
Just an idea. Yea or nay ? =o

DVD Screen Caps
10 April 2007 - 11:47 AM
Yo, been searching high and low for the program that took these screen captures:
Not sure if they've been edited or 'cleaned', but they seem nice and crisp.
Now I've downloaded 'high-quality' clips of this PV, and using different programs such as VLC, MPC and even VirtualDub, I couldn't get anything remotely close to the quality of these caps. After a while I decided my clips probably sucked. So off to Yes-Asia I went and bought the DVD. It just arrived today, and I still can't get anything close to these caps. Might be my de-interlacing methods, but the colours look washed out, and definitely not as crisp as the caps above. Example:
So does anyone know what program took those captures ? The colour ain't hard to fix, but the crispness and general quality of the caps just own my caps off the official DVD. Maybe they were from an HD broadcast or something. Hm.
EDIT: Nevermind. Found my own way of capturing high quality frames from the DVD.
