The last time I posted here was years ago, there used to be a lot more people here, very nostalgic.

I think that you can say the story is real. She got married to Motoo Fujiwara in August last year.

Bump of Chicken became very popular when I was in high school about 20 years ago, and they are still so popular that they could easily draw 350 thousand people in the concert tour in 2019.　

According to the article, Fujiwara announced last August that he married an ordinary woman(outside the show business). Then after a year, the reporter who wrote this article saw him and his wife near their apartment, and he felt that she looked familiar, then some "insider" revealed that she is Eririn.

Clearly, they wanted to keep this from the public, so I'm sorry for them. But I'm really happy that Eri is happy.

I think they make a beautiful couple and I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

I received a question through PM about Sakura's blog entry of August 4th.
I'll answer here because others might want to know.

I've said this here before but I'll say it again: Sakura's blog is really hard to translate!
Because it's sometimes so poetic and some words are omitted on purpose.

歌やパフォーマンスでいろんな事を伝えて、繋げて行きたいなと思います！！
As idols and artists, we'd like to express and pass down a lot of things through our songs and performances!!

私は戦争を経験したわけではないんですが、私が！！
I didn't experience any war, but I myself (will express and pass down a lot of things through....)!!

忘れてはいけないことは、本当に忘れてはいけないですね！
"Because there are things that must not be forgotten!"


What she is trying to say by 私が！！ is.... that there are fewer and fewer people alive who experienced the war, but it is important to pass down to future generations the horrors of the war and the preciousness of peace, so people who have no memory of the war like herself have to do it. And she wants to do it as an idol and a singer.

 

I'm pretty sure nobody can sing it as beautifully as Sakura.

 

I strongly disagree, but each to their own. 

 

Ai-chan did a pretty amazing job as well, and I can only wonder how amazing some of H!P's OG, or even Airi, would pull it off.

 

I think Ai-chan is the best performer H!P ever has, and that she is a great singer and she can sing many songs better than Sakura. But as for Tokisora, I think Sakura is better.

I think Ayaya is by far the best singer in H!P history. She is a far more perfect singer than Sakura is now. But I think she can't sing Tokisora more beautifully than Sakura. Well, of cource she can sing it more accurately on pitch though.

Airi? yeah she has a strong voice but...well, I don't want to say bad things about H!P girls.


I don't know how foreign people feel Sakura's singing, and I know it depends on individual's taste, but many Japanese people think she has a special talent.
Her Be alive, Iki wo kasanemasho and Tokisora are highly praised here despite their flaws. There is a certain quality to her singing that makes people moved.
That's why she has many fans here who like her as a singer.

By the way, I think Kanatomo is the most perfect singer in H!P now. And I really love Ayacho's singing. It's very moving.

But Sakura is by far my favorite singer

for the current lineup...honestly i doubt anyone can sing it this good, even masaki 

but if we include the past gen. LinLin surely can sing it....  *now i just remember her duet song with aichan T_T

also Ai-Gaki and maybe Abe 

I'm pretty sure nobody can sing it as beautifully as Sakura. She sings this difficult song with so many colors, nuances, great subtlety, articulation and emotion. What she is doing requires superb technique and musicality.

I like her as an idol, a member of MM, of course but I like her much more as a singer. There is no singer like her. She is special.

I think many Japanese fans feel the same way.
