Negicco is a local idl unit based on Niigata that started activities with four member around 2003 with the idea to promote Niigata's Negi. Since they have lost one member but never stopped and continued doing lot of things inside their area besides the Negi promotion like promoting eco activities, tv spots, tv shows, radio shows... and of course their lives held in very small places most of the times.

This group won his cd debut in a tv show... and not so long after that they won the U.M.U. award 2010 and not long after that they got hired by T-Palette records (Tower records label specialized in idols).

Not so long ago, by the end of last year they won an internet poll battle at http://ure.pia.co.jp for best new idol song or something... all i know is that Niigata proud defeated SKE48 one that was winning almost until the end.
