ok, so since Ronin calls me a statistics freak, i gotta live up to that, lol. at first i was going to post this in the Morning Musume thread, but then i thought i'd might just as well make a new thread for anyone to post statistics about anything that has to do with H!P. be it to show how much the record sales have dived since the golden era (OTL) or how many groups that H!P ever have had or creates per year or whatever. be creative and show something that might interest other people. preferably something that you can't just go to random wiki to look up too easy.


i got interested in seeing how the mean age in MM have changed through the years, and started doing an excel sheet for it. then i included all the members ages when they were in MM.

highest mean age: 19,21 (just before Goto joined)
lowest mean age: 16,31 (just after 5th gen joined)
current mean age: 19,11
not much time left until current MM is the oldest one.

other noteable things:
check out how much older Yuko is than everybody else! lol. no one has even become as old before graduating as she was when she joined.
Fukuda's graduation pushed up the mean age with over half a year. she was only 14 when graduating, by far the youngest.
there's only 2 days in age difference between Kaori and Nacchi, Kaori being the older one. (i guess i should've known that before, heh.)
2008 is going to be the first year in MM's history to pass without any changes made to the line-up.
there's only a month and a day left until Ai and Risa surpasses Kaori's record for being in MM the longest time, 7 years, 4 months and 21 days.
